## Pricing

from $1.00 / 1,000 products

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Best Buy Scraper - Product Prices, Ratings & Stock

Scrapes bestbuy.com (US) search results, category listings or single product pages. Returns one flat record per product with the SKU, name, URL, current price, regular price, savings, on-sale flag, average rating, review count, brand, model number, primary category, condition, main image and the add-to-cart button state (in stock, sold out, check stores, pre-order...).

The Actor reads the same JSON endpoints the Best Buy website calls in the browser, so it needs no browser and no login.

### What it does

- Keyword search (`query`), or a Best Buy search, category or product URL (`url`).
- Paginates through results (48 products per request) until `maxItems` is reached; duplicates are removed by SKU.
- Adds the stock button state of every product (batched, 25 SKUs per request).
- Prices are the public bestbuy.com prices in USD (no member or cart-only prices).

### Input

| Field | Type | Required | Default | Description |
|-------|------|----------|---------|-------------|
| `query` | string | No\* | — | Keywords to search, e.g. `laptop`, `noise cancelling headphones` |
| `url` | string | No\* | — | bestbuy.com search URL (`searchpage.jsp?st=...`), category URL (`.../pcmcat247400050000.c?id=pcmcat247400050000`) or product URL (`.../6505727.p?skuId=6505727`, `/product/<slug>/<bsin>/sku/<sku>` or `/product/<slug>/<bsin>`) |
| `maxItems` | integer | No | 20 | Maximum number of products to return |

\*Either `query` or `url` is required. If both are set, `url` is used. Filters in a search URL other than the keyword (`st`) are ignored.

Example:

```json
{
    "query": "headphones",
    "maxItems": 100
}
```

### Output

One dataset item per product. Real item (search "laptop", October 2026):

Missing values are `null`.

### Pricing

Pay-per-event, **no start fee**: **$1.70 per 1,000 products** on the Apify Free plan, with lower prices on paid plans. Each product pushed to the dataset is one event.

| Event | Free | Starter | Scale | Business | Enterprise |
|-------|------|---------|-------|----------|------------|
| Product (`PRODUCT`) | $1.70 | $1.40 | $1.30 | $1.00 | $1.00 |

Prices in USD per 1,000 events.

#### Cost examples (Free plan)

| Scenario | Products | Cost |
|----------|----------|------|
| Quick look | 20 | $0.034 |
| One category | 500 | $0.85 |
| Catalog monitoring | 5,000 | $8.50 |

### Limitations

- US store (bestbuy.com) only; prices in USD.
- `availability` is the online add-to-cart state. Store-level pickup availability and delivery dates are not returned.
- Pagination stops at the result count Best Buy reports for the query (about 2,000 for `headphones` in October 2026); use several queries or category URLs for larger catalogs.
- A product URL that contains only a BSIN (no SKU) is resolved through a search on the product name in the URL; if the product is not in those results, the run fails with a clear message.
- Sponsored placements and bundles ("combos") are not returned; only regular product results.
