## Pricing

from $3.80 / 1,000 job listings

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Google Jobs Scraper - Job Listings & Salaries

Scrape **Google for Jobs** enriched results — the job listing widget that Google shows directly in search results. Returns structured data including job title, company, location, salary, source job board, posting URL, and date in flat JSON.

### Input

| Field | Type | Required | Default | Description |
|-------|------|----------|---------|-------------|
| `query` | string | Yes | — | Job search query (e.g. "software engineer") |
| `location` | string | No | — | Location filter (e.g. "New York", "Remote") |
| `maxItems` | integer | No | 50 | Maximum job listings to return (1–1000) |
| `language` | string | No | "en" | Language code for results |

### Output

```json
{
    "jobId": "aBcD1234EfGh5678AAAAAA==",
    "title": "Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure",
    "company": "Example Corp",
    "location": "Raleigh, NC",
    "salary": "$174K–$252K a year",
    "source": "Indeed",
    "url": "https://www.indeed.com/viewjob?jk=0123456789abcdef",
    "date": "7 days ago",
    "description": "Minimum qualifications: ...",
    "employmentType": "Full-time",
    "qualification": "No degree mentioned",
    "googleJobsUrl": "https://www.google.com/search?ibp=htl;jobs&q=...&htidocid=...",
    "applyLinks": [
        {"source": "Indeed", "url": "https://www.indeed.com/viewjob?jk=0123456789abcdef"},
        {"source": "LinkedIn", "url": "https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/..."}
    ],
    "query": "software engineer",
    "scrapedAt": "2026-10-21T06:31:04+00:00"
}
```

- `url` is the first apply link (falls back to the Google Jobs link); `applyLinks` lists every job board offering the posting.
- `date` is Google's relative posting age (e.g. "3 days ago").

### How it works

The Actor sends browser-like requests through Apify Proxy (`GOOGLE_SERP` group, US exit IPs) and parses the server-rendered Google Jobs page. Google serves one page of 10 jobs per query (more jobs are only loaded by in-page JavaScript), so to go beyond 10 results the Actor runs refinements of the same query (`full time`, `remote`, `senior`, `entry level`, ...) and de-duplicates jobs by Google job id. Google sometimes answers with an empty Jobs page or blocks a request; the Actor then retries with a new proxy session.

### Limitations

- Google returns 10 jobs per search. Beyond that the Actor refines the query, so a large `maxItems` may return fewer jobs than requested (and later jobs match refined queries such as "remote" or "senior").
- Without a `location`, results lean to the proxy's region (US).
- `date` is relative and `salary` is only present when Google shows it.
- A run that finds no jobs ends as **FAILED**.

### Pricing

Pay-per-event, **no start fee**: **$6.30 per 1,000 job listings** on the Apify Free plan, with lower prices on paid plans. Each job listing pushed to the dataset is one event.

| Event | Free | Starter | Scale | Business | Enterprise |
|-------|------|---------|-------|----------|------------|
| Job listing (`RESULT`) | $6.30 | $5.40 | $4.70 | $3.80 | $3.80 |

Prices in USD per 1,000 events.

### Features

- **Multi-source aggregation** — jobs from LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor and more via Google
- **Job details** — description, salary (when shown), employment type and all apply links
- **Flat JSON output** — all fields at top level for easy processing
