## Pricing

from $1.30 / 1,000 events

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Ticketmaster Scraper API - Events, Venues & On-Sale Dates

Scrape Ticketmaster events by keyword (artist, team, show, genre) and/or city. One flat JSON record per event: name, local date and time, venue with address and coordinates, artists, category, general on-sale date, presale names and sale status. Works on the Ticketmaster sites of the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Italy and Mexico. No login, no Ticketmaster API key.

### What it does

- Searches Ticketmaster the way the website search box does, page by page, until `maxItems` events are collected.
- Filters strictly by venue city, country and category, and by date range.
- Returns the event's local date and time (converted to the venue's time zone) as well as the UTC start.
- Reports the sale status: `onsale`, `offsale` (general sale not started yet), `soldout`, `cancelled`, `postponed`, `rescheduled`.
- Never opens event pages, never selects tickets, never joins a queue: read-only event listings.

### Quick start for agents and API clients

Minimal input (one of `query` or `city` is required):

```json
{ "query": "comedy", "country": "US", "maxItems": 10 }
```

Events in one city for a month, soonest first:

```json
{ "city": "Chicago", "country": "US", "category": "Music", "startDate": "2026-12-01", "endDate": "2026-12-31", "sort": "date", "maxItems": 50 }
```

Run it synchronously and get the items in one call:

```bash
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/sweet_stickball~ticketmaster-scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=YOUR_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" -d '{"query": "Coldplay", "country": "GB", "maxItems": 20}'
```

### Input

| Parameter | Type | Required | Default | Description |
|-----------|------|----------|---------|-------------|
| `query` | string | one of `query` / `city` | — | Artist, team, show, venue or genre, e.g. `Coldplay`, `Lakers`, `Hamilton`, `comedy` |
| `city` | string | one of `query` / `city` | — | Keep only events whose venue is in this city (exact name, case-insensitive) |
| `country` | string | No | `US` | ISO country code of the venues to keep; also picks the local Ticketmaster site. `ALL` = no country filter |
| `category` | string | No | all | `Music`, `Sports`, `Arts & Theatre` (includes comedy), `Film`, `Miscellaneous` |
| `startDate` | string | No | today | Only events on or after this date (`YYYY-MM-DD`) |
| `endDate` | string | No | none | Only events on or before this date (`YYYY-MM-DD`) |
| `sort` | string | No | `relevance` | `relevance` or `date` (soonest first) |
| `maxItems` | integer | No | 20 | Maximum number of events (1–2,000) |

`discoveryId` is the id used by the official Ticketmaster Discovery API, so records can be joined with it.

### Pricing

Pay-per-event, **no start fee**: **$2.10 per 1,000 events** on the Apify Free plan, with lower prices on paid plans. Each event pushed to the dataset is one event.

| Event | Free | Starter | Scale | Business | Enterprise |
|-------|------|---------|-------|----------|------------|
| Event (`EVENT`) | $2.10 | $1.80 | $1.60 | $1.30 | $1.30 |

Prices in USD per 1,000 events.

#### Cost examples (Free plan)

| Scenario | Events | Cost |
|----------|--------|------|
| Quick look | 10 | $0.021 |
| One city, one month | 300 | $0.63 |
| Market monitoring | 2,000 | $4.20 |

### Limitations

- **No ticket prices.** Ticketmaster's search results do not include prices, and event pages sit behind a bot check that this Actor does not try to pass. Use `url` to open the event, or the official Discovery API with `discoveryId` for price ranges where Ticketmaster publishes them.
- Ticketmaster returns at most 10,000 results per search; narrow the keyword or the date range for larger sets.
- The city filter keeps exact venue-city matches (`Chicago` does not include `Rosemont`). Without a keyword, the city name is used as the search keyword, so events whose names mention the city can rank first; the filter removes those held elsewhere.
- ticketmaster.fr answers with a bot check; French events are searched through ticketmaster.com (`country: "FR"`).
- Resale-only marketplaces and partner sites (e.g. Ticketmaster travel packages) are listed as they appear in the search, without their own details.
