## Pricing

from $0.60 / 1,000 products

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Wayfair Scraper - Product Prices, Ratings & Brands

Scrapes Wayfair (wayfair.com, US) search and category result pages. Returns one flat record per product with the SKU, variant ID, product name, brand, product URL, current price, original price and discount, currency, average rating, review count, main image, selected variant option, badge, stock message, delivery promise and estimated arrival, sponsored flag, category and category path.

### What it does

- Takes a search keyword (`query`) or a wayfair.com search/category URL (`url`) and walks the result pages (48 products per category page, 30 per keyword page) until `maxItems` is reached.
- Broad keywords such as "sofa" or "office chair" are redirected by Wayfair to the matching category; the category and its breadcrumb path are then filled in.
- Products are deduplicated by SKU across pages. `position` is the rank in the output.
- Optional sort (recommended, highest price first, customer rating) and an option to drop sponsored cards.

### Input

| Parameter | Type | Required | Default | Description |
|-----------|------|----------|---------|-------------|
| `query` | string | No\* | — | Search keyword, e.g. `sofa`, `office chair` |
| `url` | string | No\* | — | wayfair.com search or category URL; its filters are kept, the page number is set by the Actor |
| `maxItems` | integer | No | 20 | Maximum number of products to return |
| `sort` | string | No | `recommended` | `recommended`, `price_high_to_low` or `rating` |
| `includeSponsored` | boolean | No | `true` | Keep sponsored product cards (flagged with `isSponsored`) |

\*Either `query` or `url` is required.

Example:

```json
{
    "query": "office chair",
    "maxItems": 100
}
```

### Output

    "scrapedAt": "2026-10-23T22:09:31.427130+00:00",
    "position": 31
}
```
Field notes:
- `price` is the price shown on the card (sale price when the product is on sale). `originalPrice` is the crossed-out previous price, `null` when there is none.
- `rating` is `null` for products without reviews (`reviewCount` = 0).
- `sku` is Wayfair's listing ID; `variantId` adds the option IDs of the variant shown on the card.
- `availability` is Wayfair's stock message (e.g. "698 Left in Stock"); `stockStatus` is set only for `LOW_STOCK`, `BACKORDERED` or `OUT_OF_STOCK`.
- `deliveryEstimate` is computed by Wayfair for the US location of the proxy IP; treat it as indicative.
- `category` / `categoryPath` are `null` on keyword result pages that are not redirected to a category.
### Pricing
Pay-per-event, **no start fee**: **$1.00 per 1,000 products** on the Apify Free plan, with lower prices on paid plans. Each product pushed to the dataset is one event.
| Event | Free | Starter | Scale | Business | Enterprise |
|-------|------|---------|-------|----------|------------|
| Product (`PRODUCT`) | $1.00 | $0.85 | $0.75 | $0.60 | $0.60 |
Prices in USD per 1,000 events.
#### Cost examples (Free plan)
| Scenario | Products | Cost |
|----------|----------|------|
| Quick look | 20 | $0.02 |
| One category | 500 | $0.50 |
| Catalog monitoring | 5,000 | $5.00 |
### Limitations
- wayfair.com (US) only; prices are in USD. Wayfair's other country sites are not supported.
- Data comes from search/category result cards, not from product detail pages: no full description, dimensions or individual reviews.
- Wayfair always returns products, even for a keyword that matches nothing (it shows popular items instead), so check the results of very specific or misspelled keywords.
- The `price_high_to_low` and `rating` sorts are Wayfair's own orderings; sponsored cards keep their own placement.
