## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Company Jobs: Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby & 6 more

Give it a list of companies. Get back every open job they publish, as clean, consistent data.

It reads the companies' **official public job boards** on 10 systems that thousands of companies use:
**Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters, Recruitee, Personio, Teamtailor and Rippling**. These boards are
published by the companies themselves so that anyone can see their openings.

### What you can do with it

- **Hiring alerts:** run it daily with *Only new jobs since my last run*, and get only the jobs
  that appeared since yesterday.
- **Sales signals:** see which of your target accounts are hiring for a team you sell to
  (e.g. "data engineer" at 200 SaaS companies).
- **Job boards and newsletters:** fill a niche job board straight from the source, with salaries
  where the company publishes them.
- **Market research:** count open roles by company, department or location.
- **AI agents:** one call, structured JSON, the same fields for every board.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| **Companies** | One per line: a name (`Hugging Face`), a website (`notion.so`), or a careers URL (`https://jobs.lever.co/palantir`, `https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite`). |
| Job title must contain | Keep jobs whose title has any of these words (`engineer`, `sales`). |
| Job title must NOT contain | Drop jobs with these words (`intern`). |
| Location contains | Keep jobs in these places (`London`, `Germany`, `Remote`). |
| Remote jobs only | Keep jobs the company marks as remote. |
| Posted within (days) | Keep only recent jobs. |
| Only new jobs since my last run | Returns only jobs you haven't received before. You only pay for new jobs. |
| Include full job description | Adds the description as text and HTML. |

**Workday:** paste the company's Workday careers URL (it contains `myworkdayjobs.com`). Big Workday boards
take about a minute per 1,000 jobs to read.

**Tip:** careers-page URLs are always matched exactly. For a plain name the Actor tries the usual
board address on each system, and marks those rows `boardMatch: "guessed"`. A generic name can
match a different company with the same name, so check those rows or use URLs.

Example input:

```json
{
  "companies": ["Airbnb", "https://jobs.lever.co/palantir", "notion.so"],
  "titleKeywords": ["engineer"],
  "onlyNewJobs": true
}
```

### Output

One row per job:

```json
{
  "company": "openai",
  "title": "Research Engineer",
  "department": "Research",
  "location": "San Francisco",
  "country": "United States",
  "remote": null,
  "employmentType": "FullTime",
  "salaryMin": 250000,
  "salaryMax": 445000,
  "salaryCurrency": "USD",
  "salaryPeriod": "1 YEAR",
  "salaryText": "$250K - $445K",
  "postedAt": "2025-04-05T00:03:20.653Z",
  "url": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/openai/240d459b-…",
  "applyUrl": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/openai/240d459b-…/application",
  "platform": "ashby",
  "boardUrl": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/openai",
  "boardMatch": "exact",
  "companyInput": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/openai"
}
```

Fields a board doesn't publish are `null`. Salary appears only when the company publishes it
(common on Ashby and Lever). The run's `SUMMARY` record lists every company with its board, the
number of open jobs, and which companies had no board found.

### Pricing

You pay **per job saved**, nothing for companies with no board and nothing for jobs filtered out.
See the price on the Pricing tab. A company with 50 open jobs costs a few cents.

### Limits, honestly

- Only these 10 systems. Companies on iCIMS, Taleo, SuccessFactors, their own site or LinkedIn only
  are not covered yet.
- Workday shows posting dates as "Posted 3 Days Ago", so `postedAt` is a date (no time) for Workday.
- A company with zero open jobs looks the same as "no board found".
- Data is exactly what the company publishes on its board right now. We don't add or guess
  anything.
- The Actor collects job postings only. It skips recruiter names and contact emails that some
  boards include.

### Questions or a missing job board?

Open an issue on the Issues tab. Requests for new board systems are welcome.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

One per line. A company name (Hugging Face), a website (notion.so), or a careers page URL (https://jobs.lever.co/palantir, https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite). Careers URLs are the most reliable, and Workday needs one.

## `titleKeywords` (type: `array`):

Keep only jobs whose title contains one of these words, e.g. engineer, sales. Leave empty for all jobs.

## `excludeTitleKeywords` (type: `array`):

Drop jobs whose title contains any of these, e.g. intern, senior.

## `locationKeywords` (type: `array`):

Keep only jobs whose location or country contains one of these, e.g. London, Germany, US.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs the company marks as remote.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Keep only jobs posted in the last N days. 0 = no limit. Jobs with no posting date are kept.

## `onlyNewJobs` (type: `boolean`):

Remember jobs already returned and output only new ones next time. Great with a daily schedule for hiring alerts. You only pay for new jobs.

## `trackerName` (type: `string`):

Use a different name to keep separate 'new jobs' memories for different lists.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Adds the description as plain text and HTML. Slower and larger output.

## `platforms` (type: `array`):

Which job-board systems to check when you give a company name or website. Workday is only used when you paste a Workday careers URL (…myworkdayjobs.com/…).

## `maxJobsPerCompany` (type: `integer`):

Upper limit of jobs saved per company.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many companies to check in parallel. Keep it low to be polite to the job boards.
