## Eventbrite Scraper: Events, Tickets, Venues & Organizers

Scrape **Eventbrite events** for any city, region, country or online: search by keyword, date, category, event format and free/paid, or paste Eventbrite **search URLs**, **event URLs** and **organizer URLs**. Every event comes with local and UTC start and end times, the **venue with address and coordinates**, the **organizer** with profile link and website, **ticket price range and currency**, **free and sold-out flags**, sales status, category, tags and image.

Fast and cheap: the Actor reads the same JSON that eventbrite.com's own pages load, with no browser and no login. **$0.80 per 1,000 events**, and nothing is charged for retries, duplicates or failed requests. Big cities are not capped at Eventbrite's 1,000 results per search: larger searches are split into date windows automatically.

A run summary (events per search, organizer and event URL, how searches were split, errors, requests and traffic) is saved to the key-value store as `SUMMARY`.

Full descriptions, retries, duplicates, events that were not found and failed requests are not charged. Examples: 100 events in one city cost about $0.08; every event this weekend in five big cities (about 10,000 events) costs about $8.

Set **Max total charge** on a run to cap spending: the Actor stops as soon as the next event would go over it and never saves events it has not charged for.

### FAQ

**Do I need an Eventbrite account or API key?**
No. The Actor reads public event pages and the search data eventbrite.com shows to any visitor. It does not log in.

**How many events can I get?**
Up to 10,000 per search (location and keyword combination), organizer or search URL, and as many searches as you like per run. Eventbrite itself shows at most 1,000 results per search; when you ask for more, the Actor splits the search into smaller date windows (and, for very busy days, into categories) and combines them, without duplicates. A single category on a single day is still limited to 1,000 events by Eventbrite.

**Why do some events have an earlier start date than my date filter?**
Eventbrite includes multi-day events that are already running (festivals, exhibitions, courses). Ended events are never included.

**Which locations work?**
Anything Eventbrite's location box understands: cities, boroughs, regions and countries, in any language Eventbrite supports. Add a region or country after a comma when a name is ambiguous ("Austin, TX", "London, Canada", "Paris, France"). You can also use the location slug from an Eventbrite URL (`tx--austin`) or `online`.

**What does "Include full description" do?**
Search results carry a short summary. With this option the Actor also opens each event page and adds the organizer's full description as plain text (and the category for organizer lists). It is not charged extra but makes runs slower. Event URLs always include it.

**Are prices exact?**
`minPrice` and `maxPrice` are the lowest and highest ticket prices Eventbrite shows, in the event's currency (`minPrice` is 0 when a free ticket type exists). Fees and taxes may be added at checkout.

**How fresh is the data?**
Live: every run reads Eventbrite at that moment. Schedule the Actor to track new events, price changes and sold-out shows.

**Is scraping Eventbrite legal?**
The Actor collects publicly available event information that anyone can see without logging in, stays on paths Eventbrite's robots.txt allows and does not collect attendee or buyer data. Organizer names and links are public business information; handle any personal data in line with the laws that apply to you (for example GDPR) and use the data only for legitimate purposes. If you are unsure, ask a lawyer.

**Can I use it from Python, JavaScript, Make, Zapier or an AI agent?**
Yes. Like every Apify Actor it can be started via the Apify API and clients, scheduled, and connected to integrations and webhooks. The dataset schema describes every field for AI agents and MCP clients.

### Limitations

- Organizer names, websites and follower counts come from search results; event URLs include the organizer's name and link but not the website or follower count.
- Organizer lists do not include category, summary or tags unless **Include full description** is on (then category and summary are added from each event page).
- Eventbrite groups recurring events in search results (one entry per series with `hasMultipleDates: true`); in split searches each date may appear as its own event.
- Private, password-protected and unlisted events are not visible to the public and are not included.
- Past events are not included.
