Live and historical **currency exchange rates** and **conversion**, using official **European Central Bank** reference rates (via Frankfurter), behind a clean HTTP API (and MCP tool). Get the latest rates, convert an amount between currencies, look up rates on a past date, or pull a daily **time series** — across ~31 major currencies. **No API key, no rate limits.** Pay per query.

### How to use

- **HTTP API (Standby):** POST or GET `/latest`, `/convert`, `/historical`, `/timeseries`, `/currencies`. `GET /` returns help. Example: `GET /convert?from=USD&to=JPY&amount=250`.
- **Normal run:** pass `{ operation, from, to, amount }`; results land in the dataset + key-value store.

Rates are ECB reference rates (mid-market), not live trading or card rates. History goes back to 1999 for most currencies.
