## Pricing

from $12.00 / 1,000 lots

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Copart Auctions Scraper: Salvage & Used Cars, Bids, Damage

Vehicle lots from **Copart US** for any search: year, make, model and trim, VIN, damage, title, odometer, estimated retail value, repair cost, **current bid**, Buy It Now price, auction date, yard and photo. Filter like the site does, sort by the best bid for the value, and get only new arrivals for your buy box.

**Built for** car dealers and rebuilders, exporters and importers, auction brokers, insurance and pricing analysts, and AI agents.

### Why this Actor

- **Every filter you need.** Make, model, years, odometer, damage, title, vehicle type, Buy It Now, Run and Drive, pure sale, recovered theft, fleet, EV and hybrid, yard state, auction in the next N days, new in the last N days, repair cost.
- **Deal finding.** Minimum value, maximum bid, maximum bid / value; sort by the best bid for the value, highest value, newest year or lowest miles.
- **New-arrival alerts.** Turn on *Only new* and schedule it: each run returns only lots earlier runs did not deliver. Send them to Slack, email, Google Sheets or a webhook.
- **AI deal reads (optional).** A deal rating at the current bid, risks to check and a note on a sensible maximum bid; with your buy box, a fit score.
- **Fast.** 500 lots in a few seconds.
- **For AI agents.** Callable as an MCP tool.

### How to use it

Clean or salvage 2018+ Camrys, best bid for the value first:

```json
{
  "makes": ["TOYOTA"],
  "models": ["CAMRY"],
  "yearFrom": 2018,
  "titleTypes": ["clean", "salvage"],
  "sortBy": "bidToValue",
  "maxItems": 100
}
```

Run-and-drive pickups in Texas auctioning this week, as an hourly alert:

```json
{
  "vehicleTypes": ["pickup"],
  "features": ["runAndDrive"],
  "states": ["TX"],
  "auctionWithinDays": 7,
  "onlyNew": true
}
```

### Pricing

**$15 per 1,000 lots** plus a small start fee per run. AI insights, when you turn them on, are $0.01 each. On the Apify free plan a run returns up to 100 lots.

### Good to know

- Bids change until the auction ends; `currentBid` is the bid when the run read the lot. Run again (or schedule it) for fresh bids.
- Estimated values and repair costs are Copart's figures. This Actor reads public lot listings only; it does not bid or sign in.

# Actor input Schema

## `query` (type: `string`):

Free text as typed in Copart's search box (matches loosely, e.g. "tesla"). For exact vehicles use Makes and Models.

## `makes` (type: `array`):

e.g. TOYOTA, HONDA, FORD.

## `models` (type: `array`):

Model groups, e.g. CAMRY, CIVIC, F150.

## `yearFrom` (type: `integer`):

Model year, inclusive.

## `yearTo` (type: `integer`):

Model year, inclusive.

## `maxOdometer` (type: `integer`):

Leave out lots with more miles.

## `damage` (type: `array`):

Empty = any damage.

## `titleTypes` (type: `array`):

Empty = any title.

## `vehicleTypes` (type: `array`):

Empty = any type.

## `features` (type: `array`):

Every feature you pick must apply.

## `states` (type: `array`):

Two-letter US state or Canadian province codes of the yard, e.g. TX, CA, ON.

## `auctionWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Only lots whose auction is scheduled in the next N days.

## `addedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Only lots assigned to a sale in the last N days (new arrivals).

## `maxRepairCost` (type: `integer`):

Copart's estimated repair cost.

## `minEstimatedValue` (type: `number`):

Copart's estimated retail value, repaired.

## `maxCurrentBid` (type: `number`):

Leave out lots whose current bid is higher.

## `maxBidToValue` (type: `number`):

Current bid as a share of the estimated value, e.g. 0.3 for bids at 30% of value or less.

## `sortBy` (type: `string`):

Order of the results.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Most lots returned.

## `onlyNew` (type: `boolean`):

Schedule the Actor (daily or hourly) and each run returns only lots that earlier runs did not deliver: new arrivals for your search.

## `monitorName` (type: `string`):

Optional name for the "only new" history, so several monitors can run side by side.

## `tenantId` (type: `string`):

Optional label used to keep separate histories for different clients or teams.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Optional. Leave as is unless runs are refused.

## `aiInsights` (type: `boolean`):

Add an `insight` to each lot: deal rating at the current bid, risks to check and a note on a sensible maximum bid; with a profile, how well it fits you.

## `aiProfile` (type: `string`):

What you buy, e.g. "Rebuilder in Texas, buys 2016+ Toyota and Honda sedans with front or rear damage, sells retail". Adds a fit score.

## `aiLanguage` (type: `string`):

Insights are written in this language, whatever the source language.

## `maxInsights` (type: `integer`):

Insights are added to the first N lots (in the sort order).

## `aiProvider` (type: `string`):

Which AI does the analysis. Apify needs no key: the model's tokens are billed to your Apify account by Apify's AI gateway (a fraction of a cent per call with the default model). Any other provider uses your own key and bills you there.

## `aiApiKey` (type: `string`):

Your own key for the provider above (not needed for Apify). Sent only to that provider, never stored.

## `aiModel` (type: `string`):

Model name. Apify: an OpenRouter id like anthropic/claude-sonnet-... or google/gemini-... (default: the newest Claude Haiku listed, a light model since it runs once per result). Anthropic: default claude-opus-5-5. Others: required.

## `aiBaseUrl` (type: `string`):

Only for "Other OpenAI-compatible API", e.g. http://localhost:11434/v1 for Ollama.

## `debug` (type: `boolean`):

Save extra diagnostics with the run (for support requests).
