## Pricing

from $2.40 / 1,000 district notices

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## India District Notices — Tenders, Recruitment & Announcements

Notices from the **official websites of India's 748 districts** in one feed: district tenders and auctions, recruitment (contract posts, Anganwadi, health and education vacancies) and announcements (public notices, electoral rolls, land acquisition, scheme lists). Pick states or districts and categories; schedule it for daily only-new alerts; let AI summarise Hindi and regional-language notices in English.

**Built for** local contractors and suppliers, tender aggregators, job portals and coaching institutes, NGOs, journalists and researchers following district administrations, and AI agents.

### Coverage

All 748 district websites listed in the National Portal of India's web directory, across every state and union territory. Most use the government's standard district-site template, so each category's current notices and recent archive are read directly; Rajasthan's 40 districts are read from the state portal's own notices API (latest tenders with their last date, orders and press releases) when it accepts the connection: it often refuses connections from outside Indian home networks, and the run then says so; districts on other systems are read from the update lists their home page links to.

### Why this Actor

- **District level, everywhere.** State and central portals miss most small tenders, auctions and contract jobs that collectors' offices post only on the district site.
- **One schema.** `district`, `state`, `subdivision` (ISO, e.g. `IN-BR`), `category`, `title`, `date`, `url`, `documents` (the PDFs), `listing` (`current` or `archive`).
- **Choose easily.** States from a searchable list (or type `Bihar`, `IN-UP`), districts by name (misspellings get a suggestion), up to 120 districts per run.
- **Daily alerts.** Turn on *Only new notices* and schedule it; send results to Slack, Google Sheets, a webhook or an RSS reader.
- **AI insights (optional).** A plain-language summary in your language, what the notice is about, the last date, and with your profile a 0-100 fit score.

### How to use it

```json
{
  "states": ["Bihar"],
  "categories": ["tenders", "recruitment"],
  "postedWithinDays": 7,
  "onlyNew": true
}
```

### Pricing

**$3 per 1,000 notices** plus a small start fee per run. AI insights, when you turn them on, are $0.01 each plus the model's own cost. Notices that don't match your filters, and (with *Only new notices*) notices already delivered, are free.

### Good to know

Titles are as published, often in Hindi or the state language; the PDF is the official notice. Some district sites are slow or temporarily down; the run reports them and carries on.

# Actor input Schema

## `states` (type: `array`):

Every district of these states is read (up to 120 districts per run). Pick from the list or type names (Bihar, Kerala) or ISO codes (IN-UP).

## `districts` (type: `array`):

Only these districts (e.g. Lucknow, Pune, Patna). Leave empty for every district of the chosen states. Misspelled names get a suggestion.

## `categories` (type: `array`):

Notice lists to read on each district website.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

0 = any date.

## `includeArchive` (type: `boolean`):

Also read each category's archive (past notices, newest first), not only notices still in force.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Whole words matched on the notice title (English or the state language), e.g. road, construction, nurse.

## `excludeKeywords` (type: `array`):

Leave out notices whose title contains any of these.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Most notices returned (newest first).

## `aiInsights` (type: `boolean`):

Add an `insight` to each notice: a plain-language summary (in your language, whatever the notice language), what it is about, the last date, and what to do. With a profile, also a 0-100 fit score.

## `aiProfile` (type: `string`):

Who you are and what you look for, e.g. "Civil contractor in Bihar registered for road and building works up to ₹2 crore".

## `aiLanguage` (type: `string`):

Insights are written in this language, whatever the source language.

## `maxInsights` (type: `integer`):

Insights are added to the first N notices (newest first).

## `aiProvider` (type: `string`):

Which AI does the analysis. Apify needs no key: the model runs through Apify's OpenRouter proxy and is billed to your Apify account. Any other provider uses your own key and bills you there.

## `aiApiKey` (type: `string`):

Your own key for the provider above (not needed for Apify). Sent only to that provider, never stored.

## `aiModel` (type: `string`):

Model name. Apify: an OpenRouter id like anthropic/claude-sonnet-… or google/gemini-… (default: the newest Claude Haiku listed, a light model since it runs once per result). Anthropic: default claude-opus-5-5. Others: required.

## `aiBaseUrl` (type: `string`):

Only for "Other OpenAI-compatible API", e.g. http://localhost:11434/v1 for Ollama.

## `onlyNew` (type: `boolean`):

Schedule the Actor (daily) and each run returns only notices earlier runs didn't deliver.

## `monitorName` (type: `string`):

Optional name for the “only new” history, so several monitors can run side by side.

## `delivery` (type: `object`):

Webhook: {"webhookUrl": "https://…", "format": "json" | "slack" | "discord", "onlyWhenResults": true, "includeItems": 10}. Google Sheets: {"spreadsheetId": "<id from the sheet URL>", "sheetName": "Sheet1"} plus the service account key below; share the sheet with the service account's e-mail first. Leave empty to only save results in the dataset.

## `googleServiceAccountJson` (type: `string`):

Only for Google Sheets delivery: paste the service account's JSON key. Stored encrypted; the account sees only sheets you share with it.

## `tenantId` (type: `string`):

Optional label used to keep separate histories for different clients or teams.

## `debug` (type: `boolean`):

Save extra diagnostics with the run (for support requests).
