## Pricing

from $3.20 / 1,000 podcasts

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Podcast Scraper — Apple Charts, Shows, Hosts & Episodes

Podcasts from **Apple Podcasts** search, **top charts** (any country, any genre) and links, enriched from each show's own RSS feed: **owner name and contact email**, website, language, categories, episode count, how often it posts and when it last did. Add the latest **episodes** with dates, durations, audio and transcript links.

**Built for** podcast booking and PR agencies pitching guests, advertisers and sponsorship teams, creators researching their niche, market researchers, and AI agents.

### What you get

| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `title`, `author`, `appleId`, `appleUrl`, `feedUrl`, `artwork` | The show |
| `ownerName`, `ownerEmail`, `website` | Who runs it and how to reach them (as published in the feed) |
| `genre`, `genres`, `categories`, `language`, `explicit`, `country` | What it is |
| `episodeCount`, `firstEpisodeDate`, `lastEpisodeDate`, `averageDaysBetweenEpisodes` | How active it is |
| `source`, `rank` | Which search or chart found it, and its position |
| Episodes: `title`, `publishedAt`, `durationSeconds`, `episode`, `season`, `description`, `audioUrl`, `transcriptUrl` | With *Include episodes* |

### Why this Actor

- **Search, charts and links** in one run; top charts for 19 genres in any Apple country.
- **Contacts from the source:** the owner email publishers put in their own RSS feed.
- **Find active shows:** filter by minimum episodes, posted in the last N days, language, with email only, no explicit.
- **New shows alerts:** schedule a chart with *Only new podcasts* to catch shows entering it.
- **For AI agents.** Callable as an MCP tool.

### How to use it

Active US tech podcasts with a contact email:

```json
{ "chartGenres": ["Technology", "Business"], "country": "us", "maxPerSource": 200, "withEmailOnly": true, "activeWithinDays": 30 }
```

### Pricing

**$4 per 1,000 podcasts** and **$1 per 1,000 episodes**, plus a small start fee per run. On the Apify free plan a run returns up to 100 podcasts.

### Good to know

- Emails are those the podcast owner published in their feed for directories; use them for relevant, personal outreach and follow the law where you are (CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
- A few feeds are offline or private; those podcasts still come with their Apple details and a `feedError`.
- Questions: **tacps126@gmail.com**.
