## Pricing

from $4.00 / 1,000 filings

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Startup Funding Rounds — SEC Form D Raises & Founders

Freshly funded companies from **SEC Form D filings**, the notice US companies file when they raise private money (seed, venture, private equity rounds). For each raise: company, address and phone, industry, **amount raised and offered**, number of investors, type of securities (equity, SAFEs, debt…), first sale date, and **the founders, executives and directors** behind it with their roles. Filter by state, industry and size; get only new filings every day.

**Built for** B2B sales teams selling to newly funded startups, VCs and angels tracking deal flow, recruiters, lenders, accountants and service providers, journalists, and AI agents.

### What you get

| `company`, `cik`, `entityType`, `yearIncorporated`, `jurisdiction` | The company |
| `street`, `city`, `state`, `zip`, `phone` | Where to reach it |

### Why this Actor

- **Official source, every filing.** About 300–500 Form D filings arrive every weekday.
- **Operating companies by default.** Investment funds and amendments are left out unless you want them.
- **Filters:** state, industry, words in the filing, minimum amount raised, minimum round size, young companies only.
- **Daily lead feed.** Turn on *Only new filings*, schedule it, and send new raises to your CRM, Slack, Google Sheets or a webhook.
- **For AI agents.** Callable as an MCP tool.

### How to use it

Tech companies in California that raised at least $1M this week:

```json
{ "postedWithinDays": 7, "states": ["CA"], "industries": ["Other Technology"], "minAmountRaised": 1000000 }
```

A daily feed of new biotech raises across the US:

```json
{ "postedWithinDays": 2, "industries": ["Biotechnology", "Pharmaceuticals"], "onlyNew": true }
```

### Pricing

**$5 per 1,000 filings** plus a small start fee per run. On the Apify free plan a run returns up to 100 filings.

### Good to know

- Form D is a notice: amounts are what the company reported, and some companies file after the round closes.
- Phone numbers and people are as filed with the SEC (public record).
- Need emails or websites for the companies? Pair it with our Website Contact Details Scraper. Questions: **tacps126@gmail.com**.
