## Pricing

from $3.20 / 1,000 company or supplier profiles

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## US Import Records — Importers, Suppliers & Bills of Lading

US customs **import records** (sea bills of lading) for any **US importer** or **overseas supplier**: total and last-12-month shipments with the **trend**, **who they buy from** (or, for a supplier, its US customers), products by **HS code**, source countries, ports and carriers, the most recent **bills of lading**, and **lookalike importers**: other US companies buying from the same factories.

**Built for** sourcing and procurement teams finding factories, freight forwarders and customs brokers prospecting importers, B2B sales teams qualifying accounts, competitive and supply-chain analysts, and AI agents.

### What you get

| Row | Fields |
|---|---|
| `profile` (`role`: importer or supplier) | `name`, `address`, `city`, `state`, `country`, `website`, `alsoKnownAs`, `totalShipments`, `shipments12m`, `shipmentsPrior12m`, `shipmentGrowthPct`, `firstShipment`, `lastShipment`, `estShippingCostUsd`, `fullContainerSharePct`, `topCountries`, `topSuppliers` / `topCustomers`, `partnerCount`, `products` (HS codes), `topLanes` (port to port), `topCarriers`, `uflpaListed`, `confidentialSince`, `dataUpdated`, `url` |

### Why this Actor

- **Trend, not just totals:** last 12 months against the 12 before, so you see who is growing, shrinking or stopped.
- **Lookalike importers:** the US companies that use the same factories as your customer or competitor, ranked by shared suppliers. A ready prospect list.
- **Both directions:** start from an importer to see its suppliers, or from a factory to see its US buyers.
- **Shipment alerts:** schedule with *Recent shipments* and *Only new shipments* to get a competitor's or supplier's new bills of lading.
- **Names or links:** type a company name, or paste its importyeti.com page link when the name is ambiguous.
- **For AI agents.** Callable as an MCP tool.

### How to use it

Who supplies Allbirds, and which other brands use the same factories:

```json
{ "companies": ["Allbirds"], "findLookalikes": true }
```

New shipments of two competitors, every week:

```json
{ "companies": ["Allbirds", "https://www.importyeti.com/company/on"], "includePartners": false, "includeShipments": true, "onlyNew": true }
```

US customers of a factory:

```json
{ "suppliers": ["https://www.importyeti.com/supplier/regina-miracle-international"] }
```

### Pricing

**$4 per 1,000 profiles**, **$1 per 1,000 supplier or customer rows**, **$1.50 per 1,000 shipments** and **$2 per 1,000 lookalikes**, plus a small start fee per run. On the Apify free plan a run returns up to 50 rows.

### Good to know

- Records are public US customs sea-import manifests (bills of lading) as published on ImportYeti; air and land imports are not in them. Companies can ask US Customs to keep their manifests confidential; `confidentialSince` shows when that started, and newer shipments are then missing.
- A name finds the page with the same name; if a company trades under another name, paste its page link.
- Questions: **tacps126@gmail.com**.

## `maxPartnersPerCompany` (type: `integer`):

Largest first.

## `includeShipments` (type: `boolean`):

Most shared suppliers first.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

## `monitorName` (type: `string`):

Optional name for the “only new” history, so several monitors can run side by side.

## `tenantId` (type: `string`):

Optional label used to keep separate histories for different clients or teams.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

The default works for most runs.

## `debug` (type: `boolean`):
