## Changelog

### 2026-09-30

- Every run now ends with a status line: how many reviews were delivered per
app, and when an app returned fewer than asked, why (the store refused a
request, it has no reviews, or the id is unknown). The Store status used to
  be blank.

### 2026-08-29

- **Price cut: $0.15 -> $0.10 per 1,000 reviews** (Bronze $0.09, Silver $0.08,
Gold $0.07), matching the largest scraper in this pool. Platform usage stays
included and the actor still uses no proxy at all. README pricing table
  updated to match.

### 2026-08-12

- **Fixed: no more empty runs.** Apple retired the customer-reviews RSS feed
the actor read (it began returning an empty feed for every app worldwide).
The actor now reads the App Store's own review listing endpoint instead.
- **Much deeper history:** the old feed stopped at the 500 newest reviews per
storefront; the new source pages through an app's entire review history
(verified tens of thousands of reviews deep).
- Two new sort orders: `mostFavorable` and `mostCritical`, next to
  `mostRecent` and `mostHelpful`.
- New field `isEdited`: whether the reviewer edited their review after posting.
- `appVersion` is now always `null`: Apple's current review source does not
publish the app version a review was written against (only the retired feed
did). The field is kept so existing pipelines keep working.
- Unknown storefront codes are now skipped with a warning instead of failing
  the whole storefront loop.

### 2026-07-13

- README: removed a stale "no minimum" claim in the pricing intro that contradicted the $0.001 actor-start fee already listed in the table below it.

### 2026-07-12

- Invalid input no longer fails the run. The run now finishes cleanly with a clear explanation in its status message, so a typo or an empty list is easy to spot and fix.
- List inputs now accept datasets piped straight from another scraper: entries
that are objects are read through their usual key names (url/link,
query/keyword/title, name/company and similar) instead of being rejected.

### 2026-07-11

- Billing: on paid runs every row is billed before it is written, and a run
now stops visibly if billing fails instead of continuing unbilled.

### 2026-07-10

- Initial public release on Apify Store.
- Scrape Apple App Store reviews by app id, pasted App Store URL or bundle id.
- Clean review records: rating, title, text, reviewer name and profile link, date, app version, helpful votes and the storefront each review came from.
- Reads Apple's public customer-reviews feed directly; dedupes by review id. No browser, no API key, no login, no proxy.
- Pull from any list of country storefronts in one run; sort by most recent or most helpful.
- Pay per review returned, platform usage included in the price, plus a $0.001 start fee that covers runs which return nothing.
