## Changelog

### 2026-09-30

- Every run now ends with a status line: how many reviews were delivered per
app, and when an app returned fewer than asked, why (the store refused a
request, it has no reviews, or the id is unknown). The Store status used to
  be blank.

### 2026-08-29

- **Price cut: $0.50 -> $0.15 per 1,000 reviews** (Bronze $0.135, Silver $0.12,
Gold $0.105). The whole genuine pool of Play Store review scrapers sits at
$0.10-$0.15 per 1,000; this ties the closest of them. Platform usage stays
included and the actor still uses no proxy at all. README pricing table
  updated to match.
- README: the FAQ still said there was no iOS version. There has been one since
  2026-07-10 — the [App Store Reviews Scraper](https://apify.com/tagadanar/apple-app-store-reviews),
same core columns — and the FAQ now links it.

### 2026-07-13

- README: removed a stale "no minimum" claim in the pricing intro that contradicted the $0.001 actor-start fee already listed in the table below it.

### 2026-07-12

- Invalid input no longer fails the run. The run now finishes cleanly with a clear explanation in its status message, so a typo or an empty list is easy to spot and fix.
- List inputs now accept datasets piped straight from another scraper: entries
that are objects are read through their usual key names (url/link,
query/keyword/title, name/company and similar) instead of being rejected.

### 2026-07-11

- Billing: on paid runs every row is billed before it is written, and a run
now stops visibly if billing fails instead of continuing unbilled.

### 2026-07-10

- Price cut: $2.00 to $0.50 per 1,000 reviews, and platform usage is now included in the price. What you see is the whole bill.
- The reviews endpoint works without any proxy, so the proxy setting is gone from the input.
- Added a tiny $0.001 actor start fee that covers runs which return nothing. On any normal run it is noise next to the per-review price.

### 2026-07-09

- Initial public release on Apify Store.
- Scrape Google Play Store app reviews by package name or from a pasted Play Store app URL.
- Clean review records: rating, text, reviewer name and avatar, date, app version, thumbs-up count, developer reply (author, text, date) and the review link.
- Reads Play's public reviews endpoint directly and pages with the store's own cursor; dedupes by review ID. No browser, no API key, no login.
- Sort by newest, highest rating or most relevant; choose language and country storefront.
- Residential proxy by default to avoid per-IP rate limits on large pulls. Pay per review returned, platform usage billed to your run, no subscription.
