## Pricing

from $0.70 / 1,000 jobs

Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Hirist & IIMJobs Jobs Scraper: India tech and MBA jobs with salary, skills and company

Get the jobs listed on **hirist.tech** (India's IT and tech job board) and **iimjobs.com** (MBA, finance, sales, HR, consulting and other management roles) as clean rows: title, company, cities, experience range in years, salary in lakhs per annum when the employer shows it, skills (with the must-haves marked), category, posting date and the company's AmbitionBox rating. Search both sites in one run by keyword, category, city, experience and posting date, or paste any hirist.tech or iimjobs.com page.

Run it daily in **only-new mode** and you get a feed of jobs you have not seen before.

$1.00 per 1,000 jobs (Free plan; less on paid plans), platform usage included. Full descriptions cost nothing extra. No login.

### Two sites, one run

| | hirist.tech | iimjobs.com |
| --- | --- | --- |
| What it lists | Software, data, AI/ML, DevOps, QA, product and other tech roles | Banking and finance, sales and marketing, consulting, HR, operations, legal, BPO, GenAI strategy |
| Open jobs (October 2026) | about 30,000 | about 25,700 |
| Typical buyer | Tech recruiters, IT staffing firms, salary research for engineers | Executive search, MBA placement teams, finance and sales hiring |

Both sites belong to the same company and share one job format, so every row has the same fields and a `site` column. Choose `Both`, or one site.

#### How it compares

| | This actor | Typical Hirist or IIMJobs scraper on the Store |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Sites per run | both, same schema | one |
| Price per 1,000 jobs | $1.00, descriptions included | $2 to $5, some charge extra for descriptions |
| Filters | keyword, category, city, experience, posted within, pasted URLs | usually keyword and city |
| Monitor mode (only new jobs) | yes | varies |
| Recruiter personal data | none (the job page hides the recruiter from visitors, so we do too) | some publish recruiter names |

### What you get

One row per job:

| Field | Description |
| --- | --- |
| `id`, `site`, `url` | The job's ID on its site, `hirist.tech` or `iimjobs.com`, and the job page |
| `title`, `designation` | The posting title and the role name |
| `company`, `companyId`, `companyLogoUrl` | The employer. `company` is null when the employer posts as confidential (`companyConfidential: true`) |
| `companyRating`, `companyReviewsCount` | The AmbitionBox rating and review count the sites show |
| `companyType`, `companyIndustry`, `companyHeadquarters`, `companyFoundedYear`, `companyEmployeesIndia` | Company facts from the same AmbitionBox card (keyword searches always carry them; for category and all-jobs lists, turn on descriptions) |
| `locations`, `isRemote` | Cities as listed (a job in several cities keeps all of them) and a remote / work-from-home flag |
| `experienceMinYears`, `experienceMaxYears`, `experience` | Required experience, e.g. `5-9 years` |
| `salaryMinLpa`, `salaryMaxLpa`, `salary` | Pay in lakhs per annum when the employer shows it, e.g. `30-40 LPA`. Null when hidden (most postings hide it) |
| `salaryMinInr`, `salaryMaxInr` | The same pay in rupees per year |
| `skills`, `mandatorySkills` | All skill tags, and the ones the employer marked as must-have |
| `category` | The site's category, e.g. `Backend Development`, `Banking & Finance` |
| `postedAt`, `postedDate` | Posting time (ISO) and the posting day in India |
| `search`, `scrapedAt` | Which of your searches found it, and when |

With **Include full job description** on: `description` (plain text, bullet points kept) and `isExpired`.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| `sites` | `both` (default), `hirist` or `iimjobs` |
| `keywords` | What you would type in the site's search box (Data Analyst, Python, Product Manager, Chartered Accountant). One per line; each line is its own search on each site. Leave empty to list every job |
| `categories` | The sites' own categories, from a list. A hirist category only searches hirist.tech, an iimjobs category only iimjobs.com. Several are combined |
| `locations` | Cities or regions, one per line, or `Remote`. Bengaluru, Gurugram, NCR and WFH are understood. `Delhi NCR` includes Gurgaon, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad and Greater Noida |
| `experienceMin`, `experienceMax` | Your experience range in years. A job matches when its range overlaps yours (5 to 8 returns jobs asking 3-6 or 7-12 years) |
| `postedWithin` | Any time, or the last 3, 7, 15, 30 or 90 days |
| `maxResults` | Cap per search (default 100, up to 10,000). The sites list at most 10,000 jobs per search |
| `includeDetails` | Adds the full description |
| `onlyNew` | Skip jobs an earlier run already delivered to your account (monitor mode) |
| `startUrls` | Job pages, search pages, skill pages (`/k/python-jobs`), category pages (`/c/banking-finance-jobs`) and hirist city pages (`/it-jobs-in-pune`) from either site. Filters in the URL are kept |

All filters in one search combine with AND; several cities or several categories inside a filter combine with OR.

#### Examples

Data roles in Bangalore or Pune on both sites, last 7 days, with descriptions:

```json
{ "keywords": ["Data Analyst", "Data Scientist"], "locations": ["Bangalore", "Pune"], "postedWithin": "7", "includeDetails": true, "maxResults": 300 }
```

A daily feed of new finance and consulting jobs for 8 to 15 years of experience on iimjobs.com:

```json
{ "sites": "iimjobs", "categories": ["iimjobs-banking-finance", "iimjobs-consulting-general-mgmt"], "experienceMin": 8, "experienceMax": 15, "onlyNew": true, "maxResults": 1000 }
```

Every Python-tagged job on hirist.tech (the skill page lists far more than a keyword search):

```json
{ "startUrls": [{ "url": "https://www.hirist.tech/k/python-jobs" }], "maxResults": 5000 }
```

### Pricing

$1.00 per 1,000 jobs on the Free plan ($0.90 Bronze, $0.80 Silver, $0.70 Gold), plus $0.001 per run to start. Platform usage is included. Descriptions cost nothing extra. A search with no jobs costs nothing beyond the run start, and you can cap spend with Apify's maximum-charge setting: the run stops cleanly when it is reached.

### FAQ

**Do I need a hirist.tech or iimjobs.com account?** No. The actor reads the same public job data both sites show to visitors who are not logged in.

**Why is salary empty on most rows?** Most employers on both sites hide pay. When a posting shows it (`30-40 LPA`), you get it as numbers in lakhs and in rupees per year.

**Why no recruiter name, applicant count or views?** Both sites hide those from visitors who are not logged in, and the recruiter is a private person. This actor delivers what a visitor sees on the job page and nothing more.

**What is the difference between a keyword and a skill page?** A keyword runs the site's search box, which matches titles and roles (Python: about 700 jobs on hirist.tech). A skill page such as `https://www.hirist.tech/k/python-jobs` lists every job tagged with that skill (Python: about 8,000). Paste skill pages in `startUrls` when you want the wide list.

**How does only-new mode work?** The actor keeps the IDs it has delivered (per site) in a key-value store named `hirist-iimjobs-jobs-seen` in your account. Schedule the same input daily and each run returns just the jobs that appeared since. Delete the store to start over.

**How fast is it?** About 100 jobs per request. Full descriptions add one request per job, so 1,000 jobs with descriptions take about 6 minutes. The actor paces its requests to stay polite to both sites.

**Why fewer jobs than I asked for?** The run status names the reason: the list ended, the 10,000-job ceiling was hit, a filter left nothing, or the run time limit stopped it.

# Actor input Schema

## `sites` (type: `string`):

hirist.tech lists IT and tech jobs; iimjobs.com lists MBA, finance, sales, HR, consulting and other management jobs. Both = every search runs on each site.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

What you would type in the sites' search box: a role, skill or title (for example Data Analyst, Python, Product Manager, Chartered Accountant). One per line; each line is its own search on each site. Leave empty to list every job (optionally narrowed by category, city, experience and date).

## `categories` (type: `array`):

The sites' own job categories. A hirist category only searches hirist.tech and an iimjobs category only iimjobs.com. Several categories in one run are combined (any of them).

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Indian cities or regions, one per line (for example Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Gurgaon, Noida) or Remote. Bengaluru, Gurugram, NCR and WFH are understood; Delhi NCR includes Gurgaon, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad and Greater Noida. A job in several cities matches if any of them is yours.

## `experienceMin` (type: `integer`):

Only jobs whose experience range overlaps yours. 5 and 8 returns jobs asking for, say, 3-6 or 7-12 years. Either end alone works.

## `experienceMax` (type: `integer`):

Upper end of your experience range.

## `postedWithin` (type: `string`):

Only jobs posted in this window (the sites' own date filter, re-checked on every row).

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Stop each search (each keyword on each site, or each pasted listing URL) after this many jobs. You only pay for jobs delivered. The sites list at most 10,000 jobs per search.

## `includeDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Open every job for its full description (plain text) and fill company facts the list leaves out. One extra request per job, so slower on big runs; same price per job.

## `onlyNew` (type: `boolean`):

Skip any job an earlier run of this scraper already delivered to your account, so a scheduled daily run returns only new listings. The memory is a key-value store named hirist-iimjobs-jobs-seen in your account; delete it to start over.

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Paste job pages (https://www.iimjobs.com/j/head-marketing-1738663), search pages (https://www.hirist.tech/search/python), skill pages (https://www.hirist.tech/k/python-jobs), category pages (https://www.iimjobs.com/c/banking-finance-jobs) or city pages (https://www.hirist.tech/it-jobs-in-pune). Works together with the fields above.
