## Pricing

from $0.70 / 1,000 products

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Woolworths Scraper: Woolworths Australia prices, specials, barcodes and nutrition

Get Woolworths Australia products as clean rows: price, was-price, half-price and "2 for $X" specials, unit price parsed into a number and a unit (and normalised to $/kg, $/L or $/each), stock, category, image, product link, and with every row the barcode (GTIN), ingredients, allergens, dietary claims, Health Star Rating and the nutrition panel. Search by keyword, paste any woolworths.com.au search, category, specials or product link, or pull this week's half-price catalogue.

$1.00 per 1,000 products, platform usage included, barcode and nutrition included. No API key, no login, no proxy to configure.

### Who uses this

- **Price trackers and comparison sites.** Daily Woolworths prices and unit prices for a basket, a category or the whole specials list.
- **FMCG brands and category managers.** Your products and your competitors' on shelf: price, specials, stock and search position.
- **Deal hunters and newsletter writers.** This week's half-price and buy-more-save-more lists in one run.
- **Food databases and grocery apps.** Barcodes, ingredients, allergens, Health Star Ratings and nutrition at no extra charge.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| Search terms | `milk`, `tim tam`, `nappies`, one per line |
| Woolworths links | A search (`woolworths.com.au/shop/search/products?searchTerm=...`), a category (`woolworths.com.au/shop/browse/dairy-eggs-fridge/milk`), a specials page (`woolworths.com.au/shop/browse/specials/half-price`) or a product page (`woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/...`). The sort order in a link is kept. A bare stockcode works too |
| Specials catalogue | Half price, buy more save more, lower shelf price or online only. All specials collects those four plus seasonal price, each product once, and Max products applies to each list |
| Max products per search or category | Default 100, up to 10,000 |

Example: this week's half-price specials and two searches.

```json
{
  "searchTerms": ["milk", "tim tam"],
  "specials": "halfprice",
  "maxResults": 500
}
```

Example: a category, a search sorted by price and a product link.

```json
{
  "urls": [
    "https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/browse/dairy-eggs-fridge/milk",
    "https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/search/products?searchTerm=coffee%20beans&sortBy=PriceAsc",
    "https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/36059/tim-tam-original-chocolate-biscuits"
  ],
  "maxResults": 200
}
```

A product found by several searches is delivered once.

### Pricing

Pay per product delivered, platform usage included, plus a flat start fee per run. Barcode, ingredients and nutrition are included in the product price.

| Plan | Per 1,000 products | Run start |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Free | $1.00 | $0.001 |
| Bronze | $0.90 | $0.001 |
| Silver | $0.80 | $0.001 |
| Gold | $0.70 | $0.001 |

Searches with no results cost nothing beyond the start fee. Set a maximum charge per run and the actor stops when it is reached.

### Limits and honest caveats

- **Prices come from Woolworths' online store** as a logged-out visitor sees it (store 1101 on the day we tested). Every row carries the `storeId` that priced it. Picking a store or postcode is not supported: Woolworths' store-selection service refused a logged-out visitor in our tests, and this actor does not sign in.
- **Woolworths' own result counts are the proof.** A search Woolworths has nothing for says "Woolworths lists 0 products" in the status; a refusal or a site change is reported as such and never as an empty result.
- **Variants.** Woolworths groups some variants into one tile; every variant is delivered as its own row.

### FAQ

**Do I need a Woolworths account, a proxy or an API key?** No.

**How do I get only half-price specials?** Set Specials catalogue to Half price, or paste `https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/browse/specials/half-price`.

**Are barcodes included?** Yes, on every row, along with ingredients, allergens and nutrition, at no extra cost.

**Why is the unit price per 100 g but `normalizedUnitPrice` per kg?** `unitPrice` keeps Woolworths' own measure; the normalised columns convert everything to per kg, per L or per each so you can sort and compare.

**Why did my run return fewer products than Woolworths lists?** The status says why: your maximum per search, the run time limit, or a refusal from Woolworths.

# Actor input Schema

## `searchTerms` (type: `array`):

Products to search on woolworths.com.au, one per line, e.g. milk, tim tam, nappies. Each search returns products in Woolworths' own order with price, specials, unit price, stock, barcode, ingredients and nutrition.

## `urls` (type: `array`):

Paste woolworths.com.au links, one per line: a search (woolworths.com.au/shop/search/products?searchTerm=...), a category (woolworths.com.au/shop/browse/dairy-eggs-fridge/milk), a specials page (woolworths.com.au/shop/browse/specials/half-price) or a product page (woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/...). The sort order in a link is kept. A bare stockcode works too.

## `specials` (type: `string`):

Also collect this week's specials across the whole store, the same lists as woolworths.com.au/shop/browse/specials. All specials = half price + lower shelf price + buy more save more + online only + seasonal price, each product once.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Stop each search, category or specials list after this many products. A big category or the full specials list can run to several thousand. You only pay for products delivered.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "searchTerms": [
    "milk"
  ],
  "specials": "",
  "maxResults": 50
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

One item per product in the default dataset.
