## Pricing

from $2.50 / 1,000 product scrapeds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Rakuten Japan Search Scraper (products, prices, shops)

Extract products from **Rakuten Ichiba search results and genre pages**, Japan's largest marketplace. Enter keywords (Japanese or English) or paste Rakuten search URLs and get every product with price, Rakuten points, review score and count, shop, shipping fee, delivery estimate, images, genre path and product URL.

Use it for price monitoring, competitor and shop research, finding best-selling products in a genre, cross-border sourcing or feeding product data into your own tools.

### What you get for each product

| Field | Example |
|-------|---------|
| `itemId` / `itemCode` / `shopCode` | anker:10002482 / 10002482 / anker |
| `name` / `subtitle` | Anker Soundcore P31i ... / 最大24ヶ月保証 |

| `page` / `query` / `scrapedAt` | 1 / keyword "イヤホン" / ISO timestamp |

Download as JSON, CSV, Excel or XML, or read through the API.

### How to use

1. Enter **keywords**, or paste **Rakuten URLs**: a search page such as `https://search.rakuten.co.jp/search/mall/イヤホン/` or a genre page such as `https://search.rakuten.co.jp/search/mall/-/502835/`. Filters you applied on the website stay in the URL and are respected.
2. Choose a **sort order**: standard, price, most reviews or newest.
3. Decide whether to keep **sponsored items** (flagged `isAd`).
4. Set **max products per keyword or URL**. Rakuten returns 45 organic products per page.
5. Run. Results appear in the dataset as pages are scraped.

#### Example input

```json
{
  "keywords": ["ワイヤレスイヤホン", "nintendo switch"],
  "sortBy": "reviews",
  "includeAds": false,
  "maxItemsPerQuery": 200
}
```

### Pricing

You pay per product record. Platform usage and residential proxy traffic are included in the price. Set a maximum total charge per run in the run options for a hard cap.

### Tips

- **Most reviews** sort is the fastest way to find proven best sellers in a niche.
- Apply filters on rakuten.co.jp first (price range, shipping, shop), then paste the resulting URL here.
- Schedule daily runs and connect to Google Sheets to track prices and points campaigns.
- Keep the default **residential proxy in Japan**. Rakuten blocks most datacenter and foreign IPs.

### Limitations

- Listing data only. Product detail pages (full description, variants, all reviews) are not scraped.
- Rakuten can change its site at any time. If the Actor stops returning data, report an issue and it will be fixed quickly.

### Integrations

Works with every Apify integration: API, webhooks, Zapier, Make, Google Sheets, Slack, n8n, LangChain and the Apify MCP server.

# Actor input Schema

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Search terms in Japanese or English, e.g. "イヤホン" or "nintendo switch". Each keyword is searched separately.

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Optional. Paste Rakuten search URLs (https://search.rakuten.co.jp/search/mall/イヤホン/) or genre pages (https://search.rakuten.co.jp/search/mall/-/502835/). Filters and sort in the URL are kept.

## `sortBy` (type: `string`):

Order of results.

## `includeAds` (type: `boolean`):

Rakuten mixes a few sponsored (CPC) items into results. They are flagged with isAd. Turn off to skip them.

## `maxItemsPerQuery` (type: `integer`):

Rakuten returns 45 organic products per page.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Keep the default: Apify residential proxy located in Japan. Rakuten blocks most datacenter and foreign IPs.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "keywords": [
    "ワイヤレスイヤホン"
  ],
  "startUrls": [],
  "sortBy": "standard",
  "includeAds": true,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": true,
    "apifyProxyGroups": [
      "RESIDENTIAL"
    ],
    "apifyProxyCountry": "JP"
  }
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `products` (type: `string`):

Dataset with one record per product: name, price, points, review score and count, shop, shipping, images, genres, URL.

## `productsCsv` (type: `string`):

The same dataset exported as CSV.
