## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## French E-Invoicing Deadline Checker (facturation électronique 2026-2027)

Check, for any French company, **when it must receive and issue electronic invoices** under the French e-invoicing reform, from its SIREN number or a search text.

### What you get for each company

- Company name, SIREN, size category (GE, ETI, PME) as published in SIRENE
- **Must receive e-invoices from**: 1 September 2026 (all VAT-registered companies established in France)
- **Must issue e-invoices and do e-reporting from**: 1 September 2026 for large companies and mid-caps, 1 September 2027 for SMEs and micro-companies
- Days left before the issuing obligation, and the action needed
- Link to the official list of approved platforms (plateformes agréées, PA)

### Who it is for

- Accounting firms checking their whole client portfolio in one run
- Purchasing and accounts-payable teams checking their suppliers
- Approved platforms (PA), software vendors and consultants qualifying prospects by deadline

### Input

- `sirens`: a list of 9-digit SIREN numbers, and/or
- `query`: a search text (name, brand, activity), optionally with a `department`

### Example output

| SIREN | Company | Category | Must receive from | Must issue from |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 542051180 | TOTALENERGIES SE | GE | 2026-09-01 | 2026-09-01 |
| 953165784 | IAMINE TECH | PME | 2026-09-01 | 2027-09-01 |

### Data license & GDPR

- Source: official French company search API (recherche-entreprises.api.gouv.fr), SIRENE / RNE open data under Licence Ouverte (Etalab). Source cited in every row.
- No persistent database is built: each run only returns what you asked for.
- Not a tool for prospecting individuals; only legal-entity data is returned.

### Limits

The legal size category for the reform is computed from headcount, turnover and balance sheet, and only VAT-registered businesses are concerned. The INSEE category published in SIRENE can differ. Results are indicative: check with your accountant.

Rules: article 289 bis of the French Tax Code (CGI) as amended by the 2024 Finance Law.
