## Pricing

Pay per usage

This Actor is paid per platform usage. The Actor is free to use, and you only pay for the Apify platform usage, which gets cheaper the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

# README

## Cradle to Cradle Certified Products Registry Actor

Scrapes the full public [Cradle to Cradle Certified Products Registry](https://c2ccertified.org/certified-products)
— every actively certified product, its holding company, category/subcategory, and the complete
certificate breakdown across all five C2C achievement categories (material health, material
reutilization, renewable energy & carbon management, water & soil stewardship, social fairness).

Pulls directly from the registry's own public GraphQL API (`api.c2ccertified.org/graphql`) — no
browser automation, no login required, sub-second response times.

### Use cases

1. **Sustainable procurement & specification** — architects, interior designers, and materials
consultants filtering the registry by category (e.g. "Interior Design & Furniture", "Basic
Materials") to find Gold/Platinum-level products for a project.
2. **ESG / compliance monitoring** — sustainability teams tracking certification level changes,
expiring certificates (`valid_until`), or newly certified competitor products over time.
3. **Market research** — building-products and consumer-goods companies benchmarking how many
competitors hold C2C certification, at what level, in a given category.

### Input configuration

| Field | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `maxItems` | integer | 200 | Maximum number of certified products to return (registry currently holds ~750 total) |
| `pageSize` | integer | 100 | Products requested per API page |
| `delaySeconds` | number | 20 | Delay before each page request — matches the site's published `robots.txt` `Crawl-delay: 20` |
| `categoryFilter` | string | (none) | Only keep rows whose category/subcategory contains this text (case-insensitive), e.g. `"Interior Design"` |

### Output fields

### Notes

- No proxies or browser automation needed — the registry's own front end is backed by a public,
  unauthenticated GraphQL API.
- The Actor fetches sequentially, one page per request, honoring the site's published
  `Crawl-delay: 20` — a full registry pull (~750 products) takes roughly 3 minutes.

# Actor input Schema

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of certified products to return

## `pageSize` (type: `integer`):

How many products to request per API page

## `delaySeconds` (type: `number`):

Polite delay before each page request. Defaults to this site's published robots.txt Crawl-delay of 20 seconds.

## `categoryFilter` (type: `string`):

Only keep rows whose category or subcategory contains this text (case-insensitive). Leave blank to fetch all categories.

## Actor input object example

```json
