## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Netherlands Tenders Scraper: TenderNed Aanbestedingen to Excel

**Export Dutch public tenders (aanbestedingen) from TenderNed to Excel, CSV or JSON, with no API key.** TenderNed is the national e-procurement platform of the Netherlands. This Actor reads the official public JSON API (`papi/tenderned-rs-tns` v2) and returns one clean row per publication: title and description, buyer (opdrachtgever), procedure, contract type (Diensten / Leveringen / Werken), CPV codes, NUTS place of performance, publication date, submission deadline (`sluitingsDatum`) and the direct TenderNed link. TenderNed publishes **~2,500 notices per 30 days** (~80/day), measured 2026-11-05.

Built by **TenderFeed** ([apify.com/tenderfeed](https://apify.com/tenderfeed)). No login, no browser, no HTML scraping. Buyer contacts stay **off by default** (GDPR).

### Endpoints used

- List (newest first, page size ≤ 100): `GET https://www.tenderned.nl/papi/tenderned-rs-tns/v2/publicaties?page={n}&size=100`
- Optional server filters that work: `search`, `typeOpdracht` (`D`/`L`/`W`), `procedure` (e.g. `OPE`, `NOP`)
- Detail (deadline, CPV, NUTS, reference): `GET https://www.tenderned.nl/papi/tenderned-rs-tns/v2/publicaties/{publicatieId}`
- Notice page: `https://www.tenderned.nl/aankondigingen/overzicht/{publicatieId}`
- PDF: `https://www.tenderned.nl/papi/tenderned-rs-tns/v2/publicaties/{publicatieId}/pdf`

TenderNed does **not** honour publication-date query params; the Actor pages chronologically and stops once `publishedFrom` is passed. Full-text `search` is relevance-sorted, so date filtering is applied client-side there.

### What can you do with it?

- **Open tender alerts**: contract notices still accepting offers in your sector or province, with the deadline and TenderNed link.
- **Market consultations and prior information**: MAC / VAK notices before the formal call.
- **SME / supplier research**: who buys what across Dutch municipalities, ministries, water boards and agencies.
- **Bid consultancies and grant writers**: feed a CRM or spreadsheet with every new Dutch notice for your clients.
- **AI agents**: use it as an **MCP tool** (Apify MCP server) and ask *"Which open software tenders were published in Noord-Holland this week?"*

### Input example

```json
{
  "keywords": ["software", "onderhoud"],
  "provinces": ["Noord-Holland", "Utrecht"],
  "contractTypes": ["D"],
  "publishedFrom": "14 days",
  "onlyOpen": true,
  "maxResults": 50
}
```

- `keywords` match the tender name and description; with keywords set, TenderNed's server-side `search` is used for speed.
- `noticeTypes`: empty = AAO (contract notice), REC (rectification), MAC (market consultation), VAK (prior information). Add `AGO` for awards.
- `contractTypes`: `D` services, `L` supplies, `W` works.
- `provinces`: Dutch province names (accent-insensitive). Nationwide notices (NUTS `NL`) are kept.
- `cpvCodes`: prefix match (`"72"` keeps every IT-services code).
- `onlyOpen` (on by default) keeps active notices whose `sluitingsDatum` is today or later.
- Default run: open opportunity notices published in the last 7 days, newest first, 50 results.

}
```
Other fields: `description`, `announcementCode` (AAO/AGO/…), `publicationCode`, `contractTypeNl`, `legalFramework`, `scope` (Nationaal/Europees), `nature`, `formType`, `kenmerk`, `referenceNumber`, `nutsCodes`, `startDate`, `endDate`, `daysBeforeDeadline`, `digitalSubmission`, `tsender`, `placeOfPerformance`, `otherClassificationCodes`.
The data follows the same normalized schema as our other TenderFeed Actors ([EU TED](https://apify.com/tenderfeed/ted-eu-tenders), [SAM.gov](https://apify.com/tenderfeed/sam-gov-opportunities), [UK](https://apify.com/tenderfeed/uk-tenders), [Germany](https://apify.com/tenderfeed/germany-public-tenders), [Colombia SECOP](https://apify.com/tenderfeed/colombia-secop-tenders)).
### Daily alerts ("only new" monitoring mode)
Turn on `onlyNew`, set a `monitoringId` (for example `"nh-software"`) and schedule the Actor daily. Each run returns, and charges for, only publications you have not received yet.
### Personal data
TenderNed's public API does not publish personal emails or phone numbers. `includeBuyerContacts` stays **off by default** (GDPR); organization-level fields (`buyerName`, province, URL) are always kept.
### Sample output (real run)
One row from a run on 6 November 2026 (core columns only; every row also has description, status, procedureType, documentsUrl and more). Contact values are masked here. Since schema 1.2 every row also carries the cross-source columns `country`, `deadline`, `valueAmount`, `valueCurrency` and `cpvOrNaics` next to the original ones (`buyerCountry`, `deadlineAt`, `estimatedValue`, `currency`, `cpvCodes`/`naicsCodes`), which are unchanged.
```json
{
  "title": "ERP-systeem",
  "source": "nl-tenderned",
  "country": "NL",
  "noticeType": "Rectificatie",
  "publishedAt": "2026-11-06T13:16:00.58749",
  "deadline": "2026-11-27T12:00:00",
  "buyerName": "Kamer van Koophandel",
  "valueAmount": null,
  "valueCurrency": null,
  "cpvOrNaics": "72260000-5, 72000000-5, 72200000-7, 72210000-0",
  "setAside": null,
  "url": "https://www.tenderned.nl/aankondigingen/overzicht/448304",
  "buyerContactName": null,
  "buyerContactEmail": null,
  "buyerContactPhone": null
}
```
### Limits and notes
- **Data source:** TenderNed public publications API.
- **Access:** No login or API key.
- **Delays and gaps:** Notices are mostly in Dutch. Value is often not published.
- **Contacts:** No buyer contact persons are extracted.
- Fields the portal does not publish stay `null`; nothing is guessed or filled in.
### Pricing
Pay per result: you pay only for the publications saved to the dataset (see the price on this page), plus Apify's small run-start fee. The default run takes under a minute.
# Actor input Schema
## `keywords` (type: `array`):
Words to look for in the tender name and description (Dutch), e.g. \["software", "onderhoud", "schoonmaak"]. Empty = all publications. When set, the Actor also uses TenderNed's server-side full-text `search` for speed.
## `keywordMode` (type: `string`):
Match ANY or ALL keywords (client-side on title + description).
## `noticeTypes` (type: `array`):
Empty = opportunity-oriented notices: AAO (contract notice), REC (rectification), MAC (market consultation), VAK (prior information). Add AGO (award), AAW (modification) or VBE (early termination) for awards and closures.
## `contractTypes` (type: `array`):
Empty = all. D = Diensten (services), L = Leveringen (supplies), W = Werken (works). Applied server-side when a single type is selected.
## `procedures` (type: `array`):
Empty = all. Applied server-side when a single procedure is selected.
## `provinces` (type: `array`):
Dutch provinces of performance (NUTS), accent-insensitive, e.g. \["Noord-Holland", "Zuid-Holland", "Utrecht", "Limburg"]. Empty = all of the Netherlands. Nationwide notices (NUTS NL) are kept when any province filter is set.
## `cpvCodes` (type: `array`):
Common Procurement Vocabulary prefixes, e.g. \["72", "45000000", "48000000-8"]. Prefix match: "72" keeps every IT-services code.
## `buyerName` (type: `string`):
Opdrachtgever name contains (case-insensitive), e.g. "gemeente", "ministerie", "provinicie".
## `publishedFrom` (type: `string`):
YYYY-MM-DD or relative ("7 days", "30days"). Default: 7 days ago. Newest publications first. TenderNed has no reliable server-side date filter, so the Actor pages chronologically and stops past this date.
## `publishedTo` (type: `string`):
YYYY-MM-DD. Default: today.
## `onlyOpen` (type: `boolean`):
Keep only publications whose submission deadline (sluitingsDatum) is today or later and that are not marked awarded / early-terminated. Turn off to include awards and closed notices.
## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):
0 = no limit. Default 50. TenderNed publishes ~2,500 notices per 30 days (~80/day).
## `includeBuyerContacts` (type: `boolean`):
TenderNed's public API does not publish personal emails or phone numbers. Left off by default for GDPR; keep off unless you later enrich contacts yourself.
## `onlyNew` (type: `boolean`):
Remember what earlier runs delivered and return (and charge for) only publications you have not received yet. Ideal for scheduled daily alerts.
## `monitoringId` (type: `string`):
Name of the watch-list memory used by 'Only new'. Use a different ID per saved search/schedule.
## `includeRawData` (type: `boolean`):
Adds the full TenderNed detail JSON under `raw` (bigger output).
## Actor input object example
```json
{
  "keywordMode": "any",
  "onlyOpen": true,
  "maxResults": 20,
  "includeBuyerContacts": false,
  "onlyNew": false,
  "includeRawData": false
}
```
# Actor output Schema
## `results` (type: `string`):
All normalized records from the default dataset, opened in the Overview view.
