## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Company Jobs Scraper: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, Recruitee

Get **every open job from any company's careers page** as one clean table: title, department, team, location, remote or hybrid, salary range when published, posting date, job link and the full description. Just paste career page links, company websites or company names. The Actor finds the company's job board and reads it through the board's **public job API**: no login, no browser, no proxies.

Supports the five job systems most tech companies, startups and scale-ups use: **Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable and Recruitee**.

### What does Company Jobs Scraper do?

- Accepts career page URLs (boards.greenhouse.io/airbnb, jobs.lever.co/spotify, jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp, apply.workable.com/blueground, bunq.recruitee.com), company websites (notion.com/careers) or plain names (stripe).
- For websites it finds the embedded job board. For plain names it checks all five systems and picks the board with the most open jobs.
- Returns one consistent format across all five systems, including salary ranges when the company publishes them (common on Ashby and Lever, and required in several US states).
- Filters by title keywords, location, department, remote, and posting date.
- **Alerts mode**: remembers what it already delivered and outputs only new jobs on the next run.

### Who uses it?

- **Sales and growth teams**: new job posts are buying signals ("hiring 5 data engineers" means a data project). Track target accounts daily.
- **Recruiters and staffing agencies**: watch client and target companies for new roles the moment they go live.
- **Job boards and niche job sites**: fill a board with fresh jobs straight from the source.
- **Investors and analysts**: track hiring velocity of portfolio and competitor companies.
- **Job seekers and career coaches**: one daily list of new roles at the companies you care about.

### What data do you get?

| Field | Example |

| title | Security Engineer, Cloud |
| department, team | Engineering, Backend |

| salaryMin, salaryMax, salaryCurrency, salaryPeriod, salaryText | 211400, 290600, USD, 1 year, $211.4K - $290.6K |

### How to use it

1. Click **Try for free**.
2. Paste your companies into **Companies**, one per line (links, websites or names).
3. Optionally add title keywords, locations or **Only remote jobs**.
4. Click **Start**. A list of 20 companies usually takes under a minute.
5. Download as Excel, CSV or JSON, or send the results to Google Sheets, Slack, a CRM, Zapier or Make.

### How much does it cost?

**Pay per result: $2 per 1,000 jobs** delivered, plus a tiny Apify start fee per run. No proxy or browser costs.

- Tracking 50 companies daily in alerts mode usually returns 20 to 200 new jobs a day.
- A first full snapshot of a large employer can be several hundred jobs; use **Max jobs per company** or filters to keep it small.
- Apify's free plan includes monthly credit, enough to try the Actor many times.

### Alerts mode and integrations

Turn on **Only new since last run** and schedule the Actor daily (or hourly). It remembers delivered jobs in your own Apify account and outputs only new ones. Use a different **Alerts state name** for each company list. Send new jobs to Slack, email, Google Sheets, Airtable, HubSpot, Salesforce, Zapier, Make or a webhook.

### FAQ

**Is this legal?**
Yes. Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable and Recruitee publish these job board APIs so that company career pages and job boards can display open jobs. The Actor only reads public job postings, respects each system's robots.txt and crawl delay, and collects no personal data.

**My company is not found. Why?**
The company may use another system (for example Workday, SmartRecruiters or its own careers site), or its board name differs from its brand name. Open the company's careers page, click a job, and paste that link: the board name is in the URL.

**Why is the salary empty for many jobs?**
Salary is only included when the company publishes it on the job board. Ashby and Lever boards publish it most often.

**Which system is not supported?**
SmartRecruiters is not included because its robots.txt does not allow automated access. Workday and in-house career sites are not covered.

**Something looks wrong?**
Open an issue on the Issues tab. An automatic self-check runs every day against all five systems, and problems are usually fixed within a day.
