## Pricing

Pay per event

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Google Jobs Scraper – Direct Apply Links & Salaries

Google Jobs collects listings from LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, company career sites and thousands of job boards. This Actor turns any Google Jobs search into clean, de-duplicated data, and puts the **direct company / ATS apply link first** (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, company careers pages…) so you can skip the job-board middlemen.

**Use it for:** job boards and aggregators · recruiting and sourcing · labour-market and salary research · lead generation (companies that are hiring) · personal job alerts.

### Features

- Searches by **keyword + location + country**, with filters for date posted (24 h / 3 days / week / month), employment type and remote.
- **Salary parsed** into `salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryCurrency` and `salaryPeriod` (hour/day/week/month/year), handling formats like `$80K–$120K a year` and `60.000–75.000 € pro Jahr`.
- **De-duplication:** the same job posted on 5 boards is returned once (normalised title + company + location hash).
- **Only new jobs mode:** remembers what it already delivered (per monitor name). Schedule it daily to get just the fresh postings.
- **GDPR-minded:** emails, phone numbers and recruiter names are removed from descriptions.
- **Honest failures:** if Google shows a captcha, JS-wall or consent page, the run says so and saves the page. It never silently returns "0 jobs".

### Output fields

`title, company, location, via, postedText, postedAt, salaryText, salaryMin, salaryMax, salaryCurrency, salaryPeriod, employmentType, remote, description, qualifications[], applyLinks[{title, url,isDirectAts}], googleJobId, dedupHash, firstSeen, query`

Views: **Jobs** (table) and **Direct apply links** (one row per link).

### Example row

*Illustrative. This row was parsed from a test fixture, not live data:*

```json
{"title":"Senior Python Developer (m/w/d)","company":"Acme Robotics GmbH","location":"Berlin, Germany","via":"LinkedIn","postedAt":"2026-10-30","salaryMin":65000,"salaryMax":85000,"salaryCurrency":"EUR","salaryPeriod":"year","employmentType":"Full-time","remote":false,"applyLinks":[{"title":"Apply on Greenhouse","url":"https://boards.greenhouse.io/acmerobotics/jobs/987","isDirectAts":true},{"title":"Apply on LinkedIn","url":"https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/123","isDirectAts":false}]}
```

### Proxy & fetch mode

| Mode | Proxy | Speed / cost |
|---|---|---|
| `http` (default) | **GOOGLE_SERP** (Apify) | fast, cheap |
| `browser` | RESIDENTIAL | ⚠️ **not recommended**: experimental, Google served captchas in all platform tests |

Datacenter proxies and plain server IPs are blocked by Google (captcha, JS-wall or timeout). Use http mode with the GOOGLE_SERP proxy (tested 2 Nov 2026: US, UK, DE, FR, remote; up to 60 jobs per query through filter fan-out; 50–63% of jobs have a parsed salary). Browser mode currently hits captchas and is not recommended.

### Pricing

Pay per job delivered: **$3.00 per 1,000** on Free/Starter plans, $2.75 on Scale, **$2.50 on Business and Enterprise**. Platform usage is included, and there's no extra run fee beyond Apify's standard $0.00005 start event. Duplicates, already-seen jobs, and blocked or failed requests are free.

Not affiliated with Google. Collects publicly visible listing data; personal contact data is removed. Make sure your use complies with applicable law (e.g. GDPR) and the sites' terms.

# Actor input Schema

## `queries` (type: `array`):

Job titles or keywords, one per line, e.g. 'python developer', 'registered nurse'.

## `location` (type: `string`):

City, region or country, e.g. 'Berlin', 'Texas', 'United Kingdom'. Leave empty for Google's default.

## `country` (type: `string`):

Two-letter country code for Google, e.g. us, de, gb.

## `language` (type: `string`):

Interface language code, e.g. en, de.

## `datePosted` (type: `string`):

Only jobs posted within this window.

## `employmentType` (type: `string`):

Adds the type to the search.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Search for remote / work-from-home jobs.

## `maxResultsPerQuery` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many unique jobs per search (1–500).

## `onlyNew` (type: `boolean`):

Remember jobs already delivered and output only new ones on later runs. Ideal for a daily schedule.

## `monitorName` (type: `string`):

Separate memory per monitor when 'Only new jobs' is on.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Job description text (personal contact data removed).

## `resolveApplyLinks` (type: `boolean`):

Try to follow Google's /goto redirect on each apply button to get the raw employer / board URL. Off by default: in testing (Nov 2026) Google answered most server-side requests with an anti-bot interstitial, so links are kept as Google redirect URLs that open the right page when clicked. Direct-vs-board is classified from the button label either way.

## `fetchMode` (type: `string`):

HTTP is fast and cheap (use with the GOOGLE_SERP proxy). Browser mode is kept for experiments only: in platform tests on 2026-11-02 it was captcha-blocked on every request, even on residential IPs.

## `maxRetries` (type: `integer`):

New proxy session on every retry.

## `saveHtmlSnapshots` (type: `boolean`):

Debug: store raw pages in the key-value store. Block pages and pages with no parsed jobs are always saved (max 5).

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

GOOGLE_SERP proxy is recommended for HTTP mode; RESIDENTIAL for browser mode.
