## Pricing

Pay per usage

This Actor is paid per platform usage. The Actor is free to use, and you only pay for the Apify platform usage, which gets cheaper the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Telegram Channels Search & Analytics — no scraping, no bans

Find Telegram channels and groups by **keywords, topic, language, country and size** and get clean metrics for each:
subscribers, average views, engagement rate, 24h/48h reach, posting frequency, citation index — and optionally
**ad contacts and ad prices**.

Data comes from the [TG Market](https://tgmarket.io) catalog of **3.9M+ Telegram channels and groups**, refreshed
continuously. You do not need a Telegram account, phone number or proxies, and nothing is scraped on your behalf,
so there are no FloodWaits and no banned accounts.

### What you get

| field | example |
|---|---|
| `username`, `link`, `title`, `description` | `durov`, `https://t.me/durov`, … |
| `subscribers` | 10 400 000 |
| `avg_views`, `reach_24h`, `daily_reach`, `reach_48h` | views per post and reach estimates |
| `er`, `err_24h` | engagement rate and 24h reach rate, % |
| `growth_7d`, `growth_30d` | subscriber growth |
| `posts_30d`, `posting_frequency`, `last_post_at` | activity |
| `citation_index`, `cited_by` | how often other channels mention it |
| `language`, `country`, `region`, `city`, `categories` | language, geo and ~400 topics |
| `fraud_score` | 0–1 score of fake-activity signals |
| `ads_contacts`, `ad_price`, `ad_price_est` *(optional)* | who to contact for ads and what a post costs |

### Use cases

- **Influencer and ad buying**: every crypto, exam-prep or fitness channel in India with 10k+ subscribers.
- **Lead lists**: channel admins with ad contacts in your niche and country.
- **Bots and apps**: seed your Telegram bot or directory with quality channels instead of scraping them yourself.
- **Research**: datasets of channels by language and topic with engagement metrics.

### Input example

```json
{
  "keywords": ["bitcoin", "crypto signals"],
  "languages": ["en"],
  "countries": ["IN", "NG"],
  "minSubscribers": 5000,
  "activeWithinDays": 14,
  "includeAdContacts": true,
  "maxResults": 500
}
```

Topics are slugs such as `cryptocurrency`, `trading`, `exam_prep`, `fitness`, `vacancies`, `ai_tools`.
The full list is at https://tgmarket.io/api/v1/categories.

### Pricing

The Actor is free to run. Without a key you get a **free trial of 20 channels per run** (biggest first) —
enough to check the data for your niche. For full results, add your TG Market API key (`apiKey`): up to
10,000 channels per run, billed to your TG Market balance (about $6 per 1,000 channels with metrics and reach).

**Need 10k+ rows, history or a recurring feed?** A one-off export of any size (CSV, XLSX, Parquet, JSON) is
cheaper on [tgmarket.io](https://tgmarket.io): from **$5 per 1,000 channels**, with volume discounts. There is also a
[REST API](https://tgmarket.io/docs) and an [MCP server](https://tgmarket.io/docs/mcp) for Claude, Cursor and ChatGPT.

### Getting a key

1. Sign up at [tgmarket.io](https://tgmarket.io/?utm_source=apify\&utm_medium=readme) and top up credits.
2. Open **API** in your account and create a key.
3. Paste it into the `apiKey` field. Channels you paid for in the last 30 days are free to fetch again.
