## Pricing

from $0.066 / prospect\_dossier

This Actor is paid per event and usage. You are charged both the fixed price for specific events and for Apify platform usage.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

# README

## Lead Generation MCP

**B2B and local lead generation for AI agents: people, verified emails, and business lists behind one MCP endpoint.**

Eight tools: who works at a company, how to reach them, whether the emails actually deliver, and what the internet thinks of the business. Normalized JSON, no cookies, no login.

Built by [The Mine Works](https://apify.com/themineworks).

### Tools

| Tool | What it returns | Price |
|---|---|---|
| `find_leads` | People at a company with roles and work emails | $0.06 / 25 leads |
| `verify_emails` | Syntax, MX, live SMTP, disposable and role-mailbox verdicts | $0.02 / 25 emails |
| `find_site_contacts` | Emails, phones and socials from company websites | $0.02 / 25 domains |
| `maps_leads` | Google Maps businesses with an MX-verified email each | $0.04 / 25 leads |
| `search_places` | Raw Google Maps place results, no email extraction | $0.03 / 25 places |
| `yellowpages_search` | US business listings by category and city | $0.04 / 25 listings |
| `trustpilot_lookup` | Trustpilot domain, TrustScore and review count | $0.04 / 25 businesses |
| `prospect_dossier` | People + site contacts + verified emails + reputation, one call | **$0.11** complete · $0.06 partial · $0.02/section · $0 nothing found |

**The dossier always costs less than calling the tools one by one.**

### Worked example

Ask your agent: *"Build me a prospect pack for Notion."*

```json
// tools/call → prospect_dossier
{ "company": "Notion", "domain": "notion.so", "job_titles": ["marketing"] }
```

Returns `people`, `site_contacts`, `email_verification` and `reputation` in one object. Every email the discovery sections surface gets a live SMTP verdict before you ever send to it.

### Setup

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "lead-generation": {
      "url": "https://themineworks--lead-generation-mcp.apify.actor/mcp",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN" }
    }
  }
}
```

Works in Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, and Windsurf. Cold start ~8s.

### Billing promise

**No result, no charge. Ever.** A company with no findable people returns an empty, unbilled answer. `maps_leads` never bills a lead without a working email.

Identical repeat calls within 60 seconds are free. Apify platform usage is billed by Apify on top, as with any Standby actor.

### Honest limits

- **`find_leads` quality depends on the company's web presence.** Domains beat bare names. Small companies with thin sites return fewer people, unbilled where nothing is found.
- **Email verification cannot see past catch-all servers.** A catch-all domain returns "catch-all", not a false "valid".
- **`trustpilot_lookup` and `yellowpages_search` need US residential proxy** upstream; expect 20-45s. Yellow Pages runs a real browser because Cloudflare blocks every HTTP client on that domain, so it is the slower of the two.
- This is public data for outreach. Nothing here comes from private databases.

# Actor input Schema

## `readme` (type: `string`):

This Actor serves B2B leads, verified emails, website contacts, Google Maps and Yellow Pages leads and Trustpilot reputation to AI agents over the Model Context Protocol.

Connect your MCP client to:
https://themineworks--lead-generation-mcp.apify.actor/mcp

with your Apify API token as a Bearer token. Works in Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and Windsurf - copy-paste config blocks are in the README.

Starting a normal run here does nothing except print this pointer.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "readme": "Connect your MCP client to https://themineworks--lead-generation-mcp.apify.actor/mcp - see the README."
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `mcpEndpoint` (type: `string`):

Streamable HTTP MCP endpoint for this run. Works in Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and Windsurf; copy-paste config is in the README.

# API

You can run this Actor programmatically using our API. Below are code examples in JavaScript, Python, and CLI, as well as the OpenAPI specification and MCP server setup.

## JavaScript example

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
    token: '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>',
});
// Prepare Actor input
const input = {};
// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("themineworks/lead-generation-mcp").call(input);
// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
console.log(`💾 Check your data here: https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/${run.defaultDatasetId}`);
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
items.forEach((item) => {
    console.dir(item);
});
