SEEK is Australia's largest job board, and this actor turns any SEEK keyword and location search into structured rows: job title, company, classification, salary label, work type, listing date and a direct apply link.

Give it one or more keywords such as "software engineer" or "registered nurse", optionally a location like "Sydney NSW", and it returns everything SEEK's own search results page would show you, without opening a browser.

### How it reaches SEEK without a browser

SEEK's search results pages sit behind an enterprise bot management challenge, and a plain request to those pages is rejected outright. But the search page itself is only a shell: once it loads in a real browser, it calls SEEK's own versioned public search API to fill in the results, and that API endpoint answers a bare request directly, with no cookies, no session and no proxy required. This actor talks to that same endpoint SEEK's own front end uses. Nothing here relies on a browser, a proxy pool or a workaround that could quietly stop working: it is the real API, the same one that powers seek.com.au itself.

Because there is no proxy and no browser render, there is close to nothing standing between your search and the result. That is also why this actor can be priced well below actors that render pages in a browser to get the same data.

**Do I need a SEEK account?**
No. The actor reads SEEK's own public search results only.

**Does it return the full job description?**
It returns the search result teaser and highlight bullet points, which is everything SEEK's own results list shows. The full description lives on the individual job page, which the `apply_url` links straight to.

**Why did I get fewer jobs than my cap?**
Because the search has fewer matching jobs, or the result set was exhausted before the cap. The run reports what it actually found rather than padding the count.

**Does this cover New Zealand SEEK too?**
