## Pricing

from $12.00 / 1,000 product change checks

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## TikTok Shop Commerce Change Feed

Turn repeated TikTok Shop product checks into compact before-and-after evidence. Every submitted product produces a row, including a new baseline, an unchanged check, a detected change, a missing listing, or a source failure.

### Accepted input

`productUrls` accepts TikTok Shop product page URLs and numeric product IDs. Use the same `region` and product list on scheduled runs so every observation is compared with the matching stored baseline.

```json
{
  "productUrls": [
    "https://shop.tiktok.com/us/pdp/1730927783781307026",
    "1730949123456789012"
  ],
  "region": "US",
  "maxItems": 100
}
```

### Response fields

Each row is one product check:

- `product_id` and `product_input` identify the checked listing.
- `change_status` is `baseline_created`, `unchanged`, `changed`, `not_found`, `source_error`, or `invalid_product_reference`.
- `changed_count` states how many tracked fields changed.
- `changed_fields` contains only the changes, each with `field`, `before`, and `after` values.
- `observed_at` is the current observation timestamp.
- `analysis` states whether a previous baseline was available.
- `provenance` records the product source and observation outcome.

```json
{
  "record_type": "tiktok_shop_commerce_change",
  "product_id": "1730927783781307026",
  "product_input": "https://shop.tiktok.com/us/pdp/1730927783781307026",
  "change_status": "changed",
  "changed_count": 2,
  "changed_fields": [
    {
      "field": "sale_price",
      "before": "18.00",
      "after": "14.00"
    },
    {
      "field": "promotion_tags",
      "before": null,
      "after": ["flash sale"]
    }
  ],
  "observed_at": "2026-09-04T09:30:00.000Z",
  "analysis": {
    "status": "changed",
    "baseline_available": true
  }
}
```

### Tracked evidence

The snapshot tracks title, seller ID, sale and original price, currency, stock status and quantity, promotion tags, rating, review count, and visible sold count when TikTok supplies them. Numeric formatting changes do not create a new observation.

`changed_fields` is empty for `baseline_created` and `unchanged`. A first run establishes the baseline and does not invent a change. Unavailable fields remain `null` rather than being inferred.

### Scheduled runs

Use the same `region` and product list on scheduled runs. The first observation establishes a baseline; later observations compare each product with its previous successful baseline. Missing listings and collection failures leave that baseline unchanged.

# Actor input Schema

## `productUrls` (type: `array`):

TikTok Shop product page URLs or numeric product IDs. Add one per line.

## `region` (type: `string`):

Storefront used to resolve the product and its public showcase videos.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Maximum product checks to save across the run. Set 0 for no limit.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "productUrls": [
    "1730927783781307026"
  ],
  "region": "US",
  "maxItems": 20
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `dataset` (type: `string`):

All records scraped by this run

# API

You can run this Actor programmatically using our API. Below are code examples in JavaScript, Python, and CLI, as well as the OpenAPI specification and MCP server setup.

## JavaScript example

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
    token: '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>',
});
// Prepare Actor input
const input = {
    "productUrls": [
        "https://shop.tiktok.com/us/pdp/1730927783781307026"
    ],
    "region": "US",
    "maxItems": 20
};
// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("thenetaji/tiktok-shop-commerce-change-feed").call(input);
// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
console.log(`💾 Check your data here: https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/${run.defaultDatasetId}`);
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
items.forEach((item) => {
    console.dir(item);
});
