## Pricing

from $1.49 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

# README

## Weibo User Videos Scraper

The Actor collects the videos one Weibo account has posted, one row per video, walking the feed until it runs out.

```json
{
  "uid": "https://weibo.com/u/1749127163",
  "maxItems": 100
}
```

### Accepted input

`uid` is required and takes either the account's numeric user ID or a link to the profile — `weibo.com/u/<uid>` and `m.weibo.cn/u/<uid>` have the ID pulled out of them for you. `maxItems` defaults to `100` and bounds the number of videos saved; `0` disables the bound.

### Result fields

Every row carries the video exactly as Weibo returns it, passed through whole rather than narrowed down to a list somebody chose once. `uid` is added on top, so several accounts exported together stay separable and join back to profile rows. `count` is how many rows the page that row arrived on carried — a page size, not a total. Nothing in the response says how many videos the account has in all; the only way to know is to reach the end of the walk.

### Where the walk stops

This is the one Weibo surface in this family that paginates by cursor, so it is the one that keeps going past a first page on its own.

The walk stops on the first page that comes back empty. A cursor that stops moving is the backstop, for a feed that re-serves the same page instead of ending. It deliberately does not stop on a `has_more` flag: on the sibling TikTok feed that flag stayed `true` through three consecutive empty pages with the cursor climbing 30, 60, 90, 120, so a run that trusted it would never stop — it would page until the platform timed it out, charging you for the compute the whole way.

If the run is interrupted, it resumes at the exact row it stopped on rather than re-walking the feed and pushing rows you have already paid for.

### Fetching one video rather than a feed

There is no separate video record on Weibo. A video is a post that happens to have a video on it, so a single video is fetched with the [Weibo Post Scraper](https://apify.com/thenetaji/weibo-post-scraper), which returns `is_video`, the stream URLs and the duration on the post itself.

### Empty is an answer, and a failure is a failure

An account that has posted no video, and a user ID nobody holds, both come back empty. The run succeeds, no rows are saved, and nothing is charged.

A run that could not reach the backend fails loudly instead, and so does a response in a shape this Actor does not recognise. An empty dataset always means "there were no videos" — it never stands in for a request that went wrong.

# Actor input Schema

## `uid` (type: `string`):

A Weibo numeric user ID, or a link to the profile — weibo.com/u/<uid> or m.weibo.cn/u/<uid>. Weibo addresses accounts by this number, not by the screen name.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of rows to save. Set 0 for no limit.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "uid": "1749127163",
  "maxItems": 20
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `dataset` (type: `string`):

All records scraped by this run

# API

You can run this Actor programmatically using our API. Below are code examples in JavaScript, Python, and CLI, as well as the OpenAPI specification and MCP server setup.

## JavaScript example

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
    token: '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>',
});
// Prepare Actor input
const input = {
    "uid": "1749127163",
    "maxItems": 20
};
// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("thenetaji/weibo-user-videos-scraper").call(input);
// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
console.log(`💾 Check your data here: https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/${run.defaultDatasetId}`);
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
items.forEach((item) => {
