## Pricing

from $0.33 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## eBay Item Details Scraper

Get the full record for any eBay.com listing from its item ID: condition, price, shipping cost, item location, quantity sold, seller name and positive feedback, every image URL and the category path. Paste a list of item IDs, for example from the eBay Search Scraper, and get one clean row per listing.

### What data can you extract?

| Field | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `product_id` | String | eBay item ID of the listing. |
| `title` | String | Listing title as the seller wrote it. |

| `condition` | String or null | Item condition as shown on the listing, for example New, Open box or Used. |
| `price` | Object | `raw` price text as shown on the listing ("US $29.99"), `extracted` number and `currency` code. |

| `input_item_id` | String | Item ID from the input that produced this row. |
| `scraped_at` | String | UTC date and time when this record was collected. |

### Use cases

- Resellers can check the price, shipping and sold count of competitor listings every day.
- Marketplace teams can enrich search results with seller feedback, images and categories.
- Brand protection teams can collect the seller and location of listings that use their brand.
- Catalog builders can download all listing images and the eBay category path for a product.

### How to use

1. Copy the item ID from a listing URL, the number after `/itm/`, or take `product_id` from eBay Search Scraper results.
2. Add one item ID per entry to `item_ids`.
3. Start the run. Each item ID gives one dataset row.

```json
{
  "item_ids": [
    {
      "item_id": "335976029100"
    }
  ],
  "maxResults": 10
}
```

### Input

| Field | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `item_ids` | Array\<object> | Yes | eBay item IDs, one per entry. The ID is the number in the listing URL after /itm/. |
| `item_ids[].item_id` | string | Yes per entry | eBay item ID, the number in the listing URL after /itm/, for example 335976029100. |
| `maxResults` | integer | No | Maximum dataset items to save across this entire run. |

### Pricing

$0.50 per 1,000 results. Apify saves one dataset item per result and applies the Actor’s per-result price to saved items.

Set **maxResults** to cap the number of dataset items saved in one run.

### FAQ

#### Is scraping this information legal?

Rules depend on the source, location, data type, and intended use. Check applicable laws and source terms, and make sure your workflow follows privacy and data protection requirements.

#### What limits apply?

Submit up to 100 batch entries per run. Use **maxResults** to cap saved items. Results also depend on source availability and your Scrappa API plan.

#### Can I start runs through the Apify API?

Yes. Send a POST request to `https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/thescrappa~ebay-item-details-scraper/runs` with your Actor input, or use an Apify client library. Read the output from the run dataset.

#### Can I connect the results to other tools?

Yes. Apify integrations and APIs can pass dataset results to Make, Zapier, n8n, Google Sheets, and other data workflows.

#### What happens when one input fails?

The Actor logs a short source error and continues with the remaining entries. Transient rate limits and gateway errors are retried; if every entry fails, the run reports an error.

#### Can I paste full listing URLs?

No. Paste only the item ID, the number after `/itm/` in the URL. For https://www.ebay.com/itm/335976029100 the ID is 335976029100.

#### What happens with ended or removed listings?

eBay may return an error or an empty page for them. The Actor logs that item ID as failed, continues with the next one, and does not charge for a row it could not save.
