## Pricing

from $9.00 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Etsy Scraper

> **Thirdwatch portfolio:** 8,800+ users across 140+ public Actors, 2M+ records delivered, >95% run success. [Explore all Thirdwatch Actors](https://apify.com/thirdwatch).

Scrape Etsy search results for handmade, vintage, craft-supply, gift, jewellery, clothing, home, wedding, and other marketplace categories. Collect structured listing and shop data for research, monitoring, or product discovery.

### What you get

- Listing and product IDs
- Product name
- Shop name
- Current price, original price, and discount percentage
- Currency
- Rating when available
- Product image and canonical URL
- Category and source query

### Use cases

- Handmade and vintage market research
- Product and price monitoring
- Shop and competitor discovery
- Trend, niche, and keyword analysis
- Catalog enrichment
- Gift and merchandising research

### Input parameters

Provide search queries, select an Etsy category, or combine both.

| Parameter | Required | Description |
|-----------|----------|--------------|
| `queries` | No | Search phrases to run against Etsy (e.g. `"silver ring"`). |
| `category` | No | Etsy category to search within, instead of or alongside `queries`. |
| `subcategorySlug` | No | Narrows results to a specific subcategory within `category`. |
| `sortBy` | No | Result order (e.g. relevance, most recent, price). |
| `trending` | No | When enabled, returns Etsy's trending listings for the query/category. |
| `minPrice` | No | Lowest listing price to include. |
| `maxPrice` | No | Highest listing price to include. |
| `maxResults` | No | Maximum listings returned per query, up to 1,000. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | No | Proxy settings. Leave default for best results. |

```json
{
  "queries": ["silver ring", "personalized wedding gift"],
  "category": "jewelry",
  "sortBy": "relevance",
  "maxResults": 100
}
```

### Example output

```json
{
  "product_id": "1234567890",
  "product_name": "Handmade Sterling Silver Ring",
  "brand": "ExampleShop",
  "shop": "ExampleShop",
  "price": 42.5,
  "original_price": 50,
  "discount_percent": 15,
  "currency": "USD",
  "rating": 4.9,
  "image_url": "https://...",
  "url": "https://www.etsy.com/listing/...",
  "source_query": "silver ring"
}
```

### Integrations

Export results through the Apify dataset API or connect the Actor to webhooks, Make, Zapier, n8n, Google Sheets, warehouses, BI tools, and AI workflows.

### Limitations

- Etsy can change its listing pages without notice, which may affect some fields temporarily until the Actor is updated.
- Optional fields (rating, original price, discount) depend on what each listing actually displays — a listing with no discount simply omits `discount_percent` rather than showing a zero.
- Prices and currency reflect the market/session the listing was fetched under, so the same item can show different currencies across runs with different settings.
- Result volume is capped at 1,000 items per query; split very broad queries into narrower ones (by subcategory or price range) for deeper coverage.

# Actor input Schema

## `queries` (type: `array`):

Etsy search terms (e.g. "laptop bag", "silver ring"). Optional if you set a Category or enable Trending Mode — leave empty to browse a category instead of searching.

## `category` (type: `string`):

Top-level Etsy category to browse or search within. Leave as 'All' to search everything. When set without a query, navigates directly to /c/{category-slug}.

## `subcategorySlug` (type: `string`):

Optional deeper Etsy category path (e.g. 'jewelry/rings'). Appended after the top-level category slug when no query is provided.

## `sortBy` (type: `string`):

How to order results.

## `trending` (type: `boolean`):

Browse Etsy's trending products page instead of searching. Overrides Category/Query.

## `minPrice` (type: `integer`):

Minimum price (USD). Leave empty for no lower bound.

## `maxPrice` (type: `integer`):

Maximum price (USD). Leave empty for no upper bound.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Maximum products per query.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Proxy settings. RESIDENTIAL required.
