## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## ATS Jobs Scraper

Pull every open job from a company's careers page, whatever applicant tracking system it runs on, in one clean format. Paste job-board URLs or just company domains like `stripe.com` and the ATS is figured out for you.

Supported: Greenhouse, Lever (US and EU), Ashby, Workday, Workable, SmartRecruiters, Recruitee, Personio and Breezy HR.

Price is $1.50 per 1,000 jobs, and filters are applied before anything is charged.

### Why this one

- One schema for all nine systems: title, department, team, locations, remote/hybrid/onsite, employment type, salary range, posting date, job URL and apply URL.
- Salary comes from the ATS when the company publishes it, otherwise it's parsed from the job description.
- Monitoring mode (`onlyNewJobs`) returns only jobs that appeared since the last run. Put it on a daily schedule and you get a clean feed of new openings, paying only for those.
- It uses the public job-board feeds these systems provide for career sites, so it's fast and doesn't need a browser, proxies or logins.

### Use cases

- Hiring signals for sales: a company posting for a Salesforce admin, a data engineer or a SOC analyst is often about to buy something. Watch your target accounts and push new openings to your CRM or Slack.
- Recruiting and staffing: see new roles at client and prospect companies every morning.
- Job boards and aggregators: feed listings straight from company career pages.
- Market research and HR analytics: hiring plans, salary ranges, remote share, which departments are growing.
- Job seekers: follow a handful of companies and only see what's new.

### Input examples

Everything from a few companies:

```json
{ "companies": ["https://boards.greenhouse.io/airbnb", "https://jobs.lever.co/palantir", "notion.so", "greenhouse:stripe"] }
```

A daily feed of new engineering jobs in Europe or remote:

```json
{
  "companies": ["stripe.com", "notion.so", "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp", "https://apply.workable.com/huggingface"],
  "titleKeywords": ["engineer", "developer"],
  "locations": ["Europe", "London", "Berlin", "Amsterdam", "Remote"],
  "onlyNewJobs": true
}
```

Accepted formats: `boards.greenhouse.io/<company>`, `job-boards.greenhouse.io/<company>`, `jobs.lever.co/<company>`, `jobs.eu.lever.co/<company>`, `jobs.ashbyhq.com/<company>`, `apply.workable.com/<company>`, `careers.smartrecruiters.com/<company>`, `<company>.recruitee.com`, `<company>.jobs.personio.de`, `<company>.breezy.hr`, `<tenant>.wdN.myworkdayjobs.com/<site>`, shorthands like `lever:palantir`, or any company domain or careers page.

Filters: title keywords, excluded title words, locations, remote only, departments, posted within N days, and a max per company.

### Output

One item per job. A real example:

```json
{
  "company": "Ramp",
  "title": "Security Engineer, Cloud",
  "department": "Engineering",
  "team": "Backend",
  "location": "New York, NY (HQ)",
  "locations": ["New York, NY (HQ)", "Remote (Canada)", "Remote (US)", "Miami, FL"],
  "workplaceType": "hybrid",
  "remote": true,
  "employmentType": "FullTime",
  "salary": { "min": 211400, "max": 290600, "currency": "USD", "period": "YEAR", "source": "ats" },
  "postedAt": "2026-04-07T17:12:35.753000+00:00",
  "url": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp/34413f8d-26bf-4bbc-8ade-eb309a0e2245",
  "applyUrl": "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp/34413f8d-26bf-4bbc-8ade-eb309a0e2245/application",
  "country": "USA",
  "ats": "ashby",
  "companySlug": "ramp",
  "jobId": "34413f8d-26bf-4bbc-8ade-eb309a0e2245",
  "discovery": "url",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-09-28T18:12:23+00:00"
}
```

Turn on `includeDescription` to also get `descriptionText` and `descriptionHtml`. The run's key-value store gets a `SUMMARY` record listing, per company, which ATS was found, how many jobs are open and any errors.

### Pricing

$0.0015 per job returned ($1.50 per 1,000). Your filters run first, and in monitoring mode only new jobs count. Companies where no job board is found cost nothing.

### Good to know

- The `discovery` field says how the board was found: `url` (you gave a job-board URL), `careers-page` (the ATS link was on the company's site) or `slug-guess` (matched by company name, for example `stripe.com` to the Greenhouse board `stripe`). For companies with very generic names, double check `slug-guess` results.
- Fields depend on what each company publishes. Salary is common in US postings and in Ashby and Lever feeds.
- Workday caps its listings at about 2,000 jobs per site. Posting dates there are worked out from "Posted N days ago".
- Only public job postings are collected. No candidate or personal data.

### Integrations

Use the [Apify API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2), Apify schedules, or Make, Zapier, n8n, Google Sheets and Slack. AI agents can call it through the Apify MCP server.

Missing an ATS, or a company that doesn't resolve? Open an issue with the careers page URL and we'll add it.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

One company per line. Use a job-board URL (boards.greenhouse.io/airbnb, jobs.lever.co/palantir, jobs.ashbyhq.com/ramp, apply.workable.com/huggingface, careers.smartrecruiters.com/BoschGroup, bunq.recruitee.com, acme.jobs.personio.de, acme.breezy.hr, nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite), a shorthand like greenhouse:stripe, or just the company domain (stripe.com). The ATS is detected automatically.

## `titleKeywords` (type: `array`):

Keep only jobs whose title contains at least one of these words (case-insensitive), e.g. engineer, sales, marketing. Empty = all jobs.

## `excludeTitleKeywords` (type: `array`):

Drop jobs whose title contains any of these words, e.g. intern, senior.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Keep only jobs whose location contains one of these, e.g. London, Germany, Remote, NY.

## `includeRemoteWithLocation` (type: `boolean`):

When a location filter is set, remote jobs are kept too.

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs that are remote or offer a remote option.

## `departments` (type: `array`):

e.g. Engineering, Sales, Marketing.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

0 = any date. Jobs without a known posting date are kept.

## `onlyNewJobs` (type: `boolean`):

Remembers which jobs were already returned (per company, stored in your account's key-value store 'ats-jobs-monitor-state') and only outputs new ones. Schedule it daily to get a feed of new openings. You only pay for the new jobs.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Adds descriptionText and descriptionHtml. For Workday and SmartRecruiters this needs one extra request per job (slower).

## `maxJobsPerCompany` (type: `integer`):

0 = no limit.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

Companies processed in parallel.
