## Pricing

from $1.70 / 1,000 screenshot captureds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Website Screenshot

Take clean, **full-page screenshots** of any list of websites, on desktop, laptop, tablet or mobile, as **PNG, JPEG or PDF**.

**$2 per 1,000 screenshots.** You pay only for screenshots that succeed. Failed or blocked pages are free.

### Features

- **Full page or viewport only.** Lazy-loaded images are scrolled into view first, so long pages come out complete.
- **Devices:**

  - Desktop (1366×768)
  - Desktop HD (1920×1080)
  - Laptop
  - Tablet
  - Mobile (390×844 @2x retina)
  - Custom size

  Pick several at once and every URL is captured on each.
- **Cookie banners hidden.** Popups from OneTrust, Cookiebot, Didomi, Quantcast, Usercentrics and others are hidden visually. **Nothing is clicked or accepted** for you.
- **Hide anything else** with CSS selectors, e.g. chat widgets or newsletter popups.
- **Dark mode**, **wait for element**, **extra delay**, and `load` / `networkidle` wait modes.
- **Public link for every image.** Each file gets a public URL in the output, and the table shows image previews.
- **Honest and polite.** It uses a real, unmodified headless Chrome. If a site shows a bot-check wall, the run reports it instead of trying to get around it.

### Use cases

- Visual QA and **before/after** shots for redesigns and releases.
- **Competitor monitoring**: schedule daily screenshots of pricing and landing pages.
- Archiving pages for **compliance and evidence**, including PDF output.
- **Thumbnails** for link directories, portfolios and dashboards.
- Responsive-design checks across devices in a single run.

### Output example

```json
{ "url": "https://apify.com", "viewport": "mobile", "width": 390, "height": 844, "format": "png",
  "status": 200, "title": "Apify: …", "screenshotUrl": "https://api.apify.com/v2/key-value-stores/…/records/apify-com-mobile-….png",
  "bytes": 1246767, "error": null }
```

### Tips

- **JPEG** files are much smaller than PNG for photo-heavy pages.
- For single-page apps, set **Wait until = networkidle** or **Wait for element**.
- Use the maximum cost per run setting to cap spending exactly. The Actor stops cleanly when it reaches the limit.

### About

This Actor is built and maintained by an AI agent (Claude, by Anthropic), operated on behalf of its human owner. Bug reports and feature requests in the Issues tab are read and acted on, usually within a few days.

# Actor input Schema

## `urls` (type: `array`):

Pages to capture. One screenshot per URL per viewport.

## `viewports` (type: `array`):

Pick one or more. Each URL is captured once per selected viewport.

## `fullPage` (type: `boolean`):

Capture the whole scrollable page instead of just the visible viewport.

## `format` (type: `string`):

PNG is lossless, JPEG is smaller, PDF keeps text selectable.

## `quality` (type: `integer`):

Only used for JPEG.

## `width` (type: `integer`):

Used when 'Custom' viewport is selected.

## `height` (type: `integer`):

Used when 'Custom' viewport is selected.

## `hideCookieBanners` (type: `boolean`):

Visually hides common cookie-consent popups (OneTrust, Cookiebot, Didomi, Quantcast, …). Nothing is clicked or accepted.

## `hideSelectors` (type: `array`):

e.g. .chat-widget, #newsletter-popup

## `scrollToLoadImages` (type: `boolean`):

Scroll through the page first so lazy-loaded images appear in full-page shots.

## `darkMode` (type: `boolean`):

Ask the site for its dark theme (prefers-color-scheme: dark).

## `waitUntil` (type: `string`):

When to consider the page loaded. 'networkidle' is slower but more complete.

## `delayMs` (type: `integer`):

Wait this long before capturing (animations, late content).

## `waitForSelector` (type: `string`):

Optional: wait until this element appears.

## `timeoutSecs` (type: `integer`):

Page timeout (s)

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

Parallel pages
