## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Remote Jobs Scraper: Remote OK, Jobicy & Himalayas

**Remote jobs from three major remote-work boards in one run, with salary, tags, location rules and the full description, for $0.30 per 1,000 jobs.**
Stop checking three sites. Filter by keyword, location rule and recency, and get one clean list.

### Why people use it

- **Remote job boards & newsletters** - fill your listings and weekly digests with fresh remote roles.
- **Job seekers** - one search across several boards, exported to a spreadsheet.
- **Recruiters & sourcers** - see which companies hire remotely, for what, and at what pay.
- **Analysts & researchers** - salaries, skills and location restrictions across remote work.

### What you get per job

Source board, title, company, location rules, job type, category and tags, **salary range when listed**, posting date, the original job page,
the apply link, and the **full description as plain text**. Every row carries an attribution line.

### Simple to use

1. Add keywords (optional), a location filter (optional) and how recent you want the jobs.
2. Choose which boards to read, or keep all three.
3. Run and export as JSON, CSV or Excel, or use the API.

### Pricing

**Pay per job returned: $0.0003.** No monthly rental and no start fee. Set a maximum cost per run and the Actor stops at your limit. If nothing matches,
the run ends as Failed and you are not charged for jobs it did not deliver.

### Credit the sources

Remote OK, Jobicy and Himalayas share their jobs through public APIs on the condition that you credit them and link back. Each row includes
`source`, `sourceUrl` and an `attribution` line: please keep them when you republish, and send applicants to the original job URL. Do not use
the boards' logos. Remotive is intentionally not included because its terms do not allow passing its jobs on.

### Reliable and polite

Public APIs only: no browser, no proxy. One request per board (Himalayas is read page by page, capped), spaced out, never retried in a burst.

### FAQ

**Is this affiliated with Remote OK, Jobicy or Himalayas?** No.
