## Pricing

from $0.42 / 1,000 post scrapeds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Telegram Channel Scraper: Posts, Views, Reactions & Media

Scrape any **public Telegram channel** and get clean structured data: post text, publish date, **view counts, emoji reactions**, forwards, replies, photos, videos, files, links and hashtags, plus the channel's subscriber count and description.

**No Telegram account, phone number, API key or proxy needed.** Fast, cheap, and your own account is never involved.

### What you can do with it

- **Monitor news, crypto, deals and alpha channels:** schedule runs with *Only posts newer than* to catch new posts only.
- **Social listening and brand tracking:** keyword-filter posts across hundreds of channels.
- **Measure channels:** compare subscribers, average views and reactions to vet influencers or ad placements.
- **Build datasets:** archive channel history for research, NLP or trend analysis.
- **Alerts and automation:** pipe results to Slack, Sheets, webhooks, Zapier or Make via Apify integrations.

### Input

```json
{
  "channels": ["durov", "https://t.me/bbcbreaking"],
  "maxPostsPerChannel": 200,
  "postsNewerThan": "2026-09-01",
  "keywords": ["bitcoin", "ETF"],
  "minViews": 1000
}
```

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| `channels` | Usernames, `@names` or `t.me` links. |
| `maxPostsPerChannel` | Newest first. `0` = channel profile only (subscribers, description). |
| `postsNewerThan` | Stop at this date (great for scheduled runs). |
| `afterMessageId` | Only posts with a higher ID than the last one you have: resume a monitor with no gaps or repeats. |
| `keywords`, `minViews`, `onlyWithMedia` | Filters applied before billing. |
| `includeChannelInfo` | One free profile row per channel. |
| `maxPosts` | Hard cap for the whole run. |

### Output

Posts (`type: "post"`):

```json
{
  "channel": "durov", "id": 552, "date": "2026-10-11T14:52:40+00:00",
  "text": "Designers × AI ...", "views": 444000, "reactionsTotal": 16490,
  "reactions": [{"emoji": "custom:5265077361648368841", "count": 4910}],
  "forwardedFrom": null, "mediaType": "photo", "videoDuration": null, "photos": ["https://..."], "links": ["https://..."],
  "hashtags": ["#AI"], "url": "https://t.me/durov/552"
}
```

Channel profile (`type: "channel"`): `title`, `description`, `subscribers`, `verified`, `photos`, `videos`, `links`, `avatarUrl`.

### Pricing

**$0.80 per 1,000 posts on the Free plan, down to $0.42 on higher plans, no start fee.** Channel profile rows are free. Keyword, view and media filters apply before billing, so you only pay for posts you keep.

| Apify plan tier | Free | Bronze | Silver | Gold | Platinum | Diamond |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| per 1,000 posts | $0.80 | $0.70 | $0.54 | $0.42 | $0.42 | $0.42 |

### Limitations

- `mediaType` is `video`, `photo`, `document`, `poll` or `text`; `videoDuration` is in seconds. Service notices ("channel created", pins) are not returned or charged.
- **Public channels only.** Private channels, groups and chats are not accessible. Some channels turn off public viewing (often for copyright), and those return a clear error.
- Reaction details: standard emoji show as the emoji, Premium custom emoji as `custom:<id>`, and paid reactions as `star`.
- Reads what Telegram shows publicly, so view and reaction counts are a snapshot at scrape time.

# Actor input Schema

## `channels` (type: `array`):

Channel usernames (`durov`, `@telegram`) or links (`https://t.me/durov`). Must be a public channel with a web preview (you can open `t.me/s/<name>` in a browser).

## `maxPostsPerChannel` (type: `integer`):

Newest posts first. Each page of the preview holds about 20 posts. 0 = channel profile only (subscribers, description), no posts.

## `postsNewerThan` (type: `string`):

ISO date or date-time, e.g. `2026-09-01`. Scraping stops once older posts are reached. Ideal for scheduled runs that only collect what is new.

## `afterMessageId` (type: `integer`):

Optional: return only posts with a higher ID than this (the last ID you already have), to resume monitoring without gaps or repeats. Applies to every channel in the run, so use it with one channel.

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Keep only posts whose text contains one of these words (case-insensitive). You are billed only for posts that match.

## `minViews` (type: `integer`):

Keep only posts with at least this many views.

## `onlyWithMedia` (type: `boolean`):

Skip text-only posts.

## `includeChannelInfo` (type: `boolean`):

Adds one free `type: channel` item per channel with title, description, subscriber count and counters.

## `maxPosts` (type: `integer`):

Hard cap for the whole run (also caps your cost).

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "channels": [
    "durov",
    "telegram"
  ],
  "maxPostsPerChannel": 100,
  "onlyWithMedia": false,
  "includeChannelInfo": true
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `posts` (type: `string`):

Channel profile rows and posts, one item each.
