## Pricing

from $0.12 / 1,000 reviews

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Google Play Reviews Scraper: Ratings, Replies & App Versions

Extract Google Play Store reviews for any Android app: star rating, review text, date, **app
version**, helpful votes, and the **developer's reply** with its date. Many apps and languages in
one run, star-rating filter, and a Since date for monitoring only new reviews. Export to JSON,
CSV or Excel, or call it from your code, Make, Zapier, n8n, or an AI agent via MCP.

### What data can you get?

### How much does it cost?

Pay only for reviews delivered: **$0.20 per 1,000 reviews** plus $0.003 per run.
Example: the latest 5,000 English reviews of one app ≈ **$1.00**. A daily monitoring run that
finds 40 new reviews ≈ **$0.01**. Apify's free plan credits cover a first test.

Set **Max reviews per app** to cap what you spend; the run also stops cleanly at the maximum total
charge you set for a run.

### How to use it

1. Add apps: Google Play URLs or package names (`com.spotify.music`).
2. Pick **Languages** (`en`, `de`, `pt-BR`...).
3. Set **Max reviews per app**, and optionally **Sort by**, **Since date** and **Only this star rating**.
4. Run, then download the dataset.

**Languages, not countries:** Google Play shows the same reviews in every country; it groups
them by language. So you choose languages, and you never pay twice for the same review.

**Monitoring:** schedule a daily run with Sort by = Newest and Since date = yesterday.

**API:** `POST https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/tidyscrape~google-play-reviews-scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items`

```json
{ "apps": ["com.spotify.music", "com.whatsapp"], "languages": ["en", "de"], "maxReviewsPerApp": 1000, "sort": "newest" }
```

**AI agents:** available through the Apify MCP server with fully described inputs and outputs.

### Use cases

- **Product feedback:** find bugs and feature requests by app version.
- **Support quality:** see which reviews got a developer reply, and how fast.
- **Competitor tracking:** compare ratings and complaints across rival apps and languages.
- **Sentiment analysis:** feed reviews into an LLM, BI tool or spreadsheet.

### FAQ

**Is it legal to scrape Google Play reviews?** This Actor only collects reviews Google shows
publicly on the Play Store website, without logging in. Reviews include the reviewer's display
name, which is personal data; turn off **Include reviewer names** if you do not need it. You are
responsible for using the data lawfully (e.g. GDPR/CCPA). Not for FCRA purposes. Not affiliated
with Google.

**Why is `appVersion` sometimes empty?** Google only shows it when the reviewer's device reported it.

**How fresh is the data?** Collected live from Google Play on every run.

**Something broke or a field is missing?** Open an Issue. We usually respond within a day.

### Changelog

- 2026-09-28: first release.

# Actor input Schema

## `apps` (type: `array`):

Apps to get reviews for. Each entry can be a Google Play URL (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spotify.music) or a package name (com.spotify.music).

## `languages` (type: `array`):

Review languages to fetch, e.g. "en", "de", "pt-BR". Google Play reviews are grouped by language, not by country: the same English reviews show in the US, UK and India. Each language is fetched separately.

## `maxReviewsPerApp` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many reviews for each app in each country. You pay per review, so this also caps cost.

## `sort` (type: `string`):

"newest" first (use with Since date for monitoring), "relevant" (Google's default order) or by "rating".

## `sinceDate` (type: `string`):

Only return reviews posted on or after this date (YYYY-MM-DD). Ideal for scheduled runs that fetch only new reviews. Requires Sort by = Newest.

## `starRating` (type: `integer`):

Only return reviews with this many stars (1-5). Leave empty for all ratings.

## `includeReviewerNames` (type: `boolean`):

Include the reviewer's Google display name. Turn off if you do not need personal data.

## `country` (type: `string`):

2-letter Google Play country (us, gb, de...) used to look up the app. It does not change which reviews you get; use it when an app is only available in some countries.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Proxy servers used for requests. The default (Apify datacenter proxy) works for Google Play.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "apps": [
    "https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spotify.music"
