from $0.80 / 1,000 jobs

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Workday Jobs Scraper: all jobs from myworkdayjobs.com career sites

Get every open job from companies that use **Workday** for hiring: Fortune 500 companies, banks, pharma, retail and tech. Add Workday career site URLs or company websites and get clean, structured jobs with the full description and the exact posting date. You pay only for the jobs you get.

**Why this one:** **$0.80 per 1,000 jobs with full descriptions included**, while popular Workday scrapers on the Store charge about $1–4 per 1,000. Inputs without a Workday site and jobs removed by your filters are **free**.

### Why this scraper

- **Full details included.** For every job: full description, exact posting date, location and extra locations, country code, time type, remote/hybrid type and the hiring legal entity. The price is the same with or without details.
- **Fast and light.** It reads the same public job feed that the Workday career site uses in your browser. No headless browser, so runs are quick and cheap.
- **Many companies in one run.** Mix Workday URLs (`myworkdayjobs.com` and `myworkdaysite.com`) and company websites. Websites are scanned for a linked Workday career site.
- **Filters that save money.** Title keywords, excluded words, location, country, workplace type and posting date. Jobs removed by filters are **free**, and companies without a Workday site are **free**.
- **Monitoring built in.** Turn on *Only new jobs* and schedule the Actor daily to get just the jobs posted since the last run.

### What you get

| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| company, legalEntity | Adobe, ADUS-Adobe Inc. |
| jobId, title | R170381, Sr. Analyst, External Reporting |
| location, additionalLocations | San Jose, \[Seattle] |
| country, countryCode | United States of America, US |
| timeType, workplaceType, remoteType | Full time, hybrid, Hybrid |
| postedAt, postedOnText | 2026-10-02, Posted 2 Days Ago |
| url, applyUrl | job page and apply link |
| descriptionText / descriptionHtml | full job description |
| workdaySite, companyInput | the career site and your input |

### How to use

1. Add companies to **Workday career sites or company websites**:
   - a Workday URL: `https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite`
   - a myworkdaysite URL: `https://wd3.myworkdaysite.com/recruiting/acme/Careers`
   - a company website: `intel.com`
2. Optional: search text, title keywords, countries, workplace type, posted within N days, max jobs per company.
3. Run and download the results as JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML, or use them via the API, webhooks or integrations (Google Sheets, Make, Zapier, n8n, Slack).

**Tip:** open the company's careers page, click "Search jobs" and copy the `myworkdayjobs.com` address from your browser. Direct URLs always work. Website detection works only when the website links to its Workday site.

#### Example input

```json
{
  "companies": [
    "https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite",
    "https://salesforce.wd12.myworkdayjobs.com/External_Career_Site",
    "intel.com"
  ],
  "titleKeywords": ["engineer"],
  "countryCodes": ["US", "DE"],
  "postedWithinDays": 7,
  "maxJobsPerCompany": 0
}
```

#### Example output (shortened)

```json
{
  "company": "Adobe",
  "legalEntity": "ADUS-Adobe Inc.",
  "jobId": "R170381",
  "title": "Sr. Analyst, External Reporting and Equity Accounting",
  "location": "San Jose",
  "country": "United States of America",
  "countryCode": "US",
  "timeType": "Full time",
  "postedAt": "2026-10-02",
  "url": "https://adobe.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/external_experienced/job/San-Jose/Sr-Analyst--External-Reporting-and-Equity-Accounting_R170381-1",
  "descriptionText": "Position Summary\nAre you passionate about storytelling and driving the narrative of financial results..."
}
```

### Monitoring new jobs

Set **Only new jobs** to true and add a schedule (for example daily). Each run returns only jobs that were not returned before for the same career site and **State key**. The first run returns all matching jobs as the baseline. Use `maxJobsPerCompany: 0` for monitoring so no new job is missed.

### Run report

- **`COMPANIES`**: for every input, the status, the Workday site(s) found, and jobs listed, filtered and saved.
- **`SUMMARY`**: totals for the run.

### Pricing

Pay per event:

- **Job** (`job`): one charge per job saved to your dataset, details included.
- **Free:** inputs without a Workday career site, and jobs removed by your filters.

See the *Pricing* tab for the current price. Set a maximum cost per run and the Actor stops gracefully when it is reached.

### Limitations

- Only public Workday career sites. Internal or login-only job sites are not accessible.
- Website detection is best effort: many companies load their job search with JavaScript or link it indirectly. Use the direct Workday URL in that case.
- Without details, the posting date is approximate (from "Posted 3 Days Ago").
- Remote/hybrid information is available only when the company publishes it.

### Use with AI agents (MCP)

This Actor works as a tool for AI agents through the **Apify MCP server** at `https://mcp.apify.com`. Connect Claude, Cursor, VS Code, n8n or any other MCP client to `https://mcp.apify.com?tools=tinyrex/workday-jobs-scraper` and the agent can run it from a plain-language request, for example: *"List all data analyst jobs posted at Adobe in the last 7 days"*. Results come back as clean, structured JSON at the same pay-per-result price, and failed inputs stay free.

### FAQ

**Is it legal?** The Actor reads job postings that companies publish on their public career sites for job seekers and search engines. It does not log in, does not apply to jobs and does not collect candidate data. Use the data in line with your local laws.

**How fast is it?** About 10 jobs per second with full details. Large companies with thousands of jobs take a few minutes.

**Can I get jobs from many companies?** Yes. Add as many career sites as you need. They are processed in parallel.

Workday career site URLs (https://acme.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/External, also wdN.myworkdaysite.com/recruiting/...) or company websites (intel.com). Websites are scanned for a linked Workday site; if none is found the input is skipped and not charged. Direct URLs are the most reliable.

Maximum jobs saved per company (after filters). 0 = all jobs.

## `searchText` (type: `string`):

Optional keyword search on the Workday site itself (e.g. data engineer).
