## Pricing

Pay per usage

This Actor is paid per platform usage. The Actor is free to use, and you only pay for the Apify platform usage, which gets cheaper the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## EU & Swiss Public Tenders Monitor (TED)

Get **open public tenders from the EU, Switzerland, Norway and the EEA** as clean JSON/CSV/Excel, straight from the **official TED (Tenders Electronic Daily) Search API v3**. No login, no proxy, no browser - fast and cheap.

### What you get

For each tender: publication number, title (in your preferred language), buyer name, country and city, publication date, **submission deadline**, notice and procedure type, contract nature, **CPV codes**, place of performance (NUTS), **estimated value + currency** (when published), and links to the TED page, PDF and XML.

### Typical uses

- **Daily tender alerts**: schedule the Actor once a day with `onlyNew = true` and connect it to email, Slack, Google Sheets or a webhook.
- **Bid/no-bid pipelines** for IT, consulting, construction, medical supplies, etc. (filter by CPV).
- **Market research**: who buys what, where, for how much.

### Input examples

IT tenders in Switzerland, Italy and Germany published in the last 7 days and still open:

```json
{ "keywords": ["software", "cloud"], "buyerCountries": ["CHE", "ITA", "DEU"], "cpvCodes": ["72000000"], "publishedWithinDays": 7 }
```

Expert mode (any TED expert query):

```json
{ "expertQuery": "buyer-country=CHE AND notice-type=cn-standard AND publication-date>=20261001" }
```

CPV tip: `72000000` = all IT services, `48` = software packages, `45` = construction, `33` = medical equipment, `79` = business services.

### Output sample

```json
{
  "publicationNumber": "697152-2026",
  "title": "IT-Dienstleistungen für Weiterentwicklung und Betriebsunterstützung des zentralen Microsoft 365 Services",
  "buyerName": "Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft - Einkauf B12",
  "buyerCountry": "DEU",
  "buyerCity": "München",
  "publicationDate": "2026-10-09",
  "deadline": "2026-11-10",
  "noticeType": "cn-standard",
  "procedureType": "open",
  "cpvCodes": ["72000000"],
  "estimatedValue": null,
  "currency": null,
  "url": "https://ted.europa.eu/en/notice/-/detail/697152-2026"
}
```

### NEW: Swiss national tenders from simap.ch

Set `"includeSimap": true` to also get tenders published **only on simap.ch** (Swiss federal, cantonal and municipal procurement, often below EU thresholds) in the **same output format**. The same keywords, CPV codes, notice types and date window are used; rows have `source: "simap.ch"`.

```json
{"keywords": ["software", "informatik"], "cpvCodes": ["72000000", "48"], "buyerCountries": ["CHE"], "publishedWithinDays": 14, "includeSimap": true}
```

simap.ch data are delivered unmodified (original language), only from 08:00 (Zurich time) on the publication day, and each row carries the notice required by the simap.ch API terms: *"This is not an official publication. The data published on the www.simap.ch platform are authoritative."* Some Swiss tenders appear on both TED and simap.ch.

### Notes

- Data source: TED, the official journal of EU public procurement (Publications Office of the EU). Swiss tenders appear on TED when published there; Swiss-only simap.ch notices are not included (yet).
- Keyword search is full-text over the notice, in the notice's languages - add translations (e.g. `software`, `Software`, `logiciel`) for best recall.
- Issues or feature requests? Open an issue on the Actor page - we respond quickly.

# Actor input Schema

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Tender must contain at least one of these words (any language used in the notice).

## `buyerCountries` (type: `array`):

e.g. CHE, ITA, DEU, FRA, AUT. Empty = all countries.

## `cpvCodes` (type: `array`):

e.g. 72000000 (IT services, includes all sub-codes), 48 (software packages), 45 (construction). Trailing zeros are treated as a prefix.

## `noticeTypes` (type: `array`):

TED notice-type codes. Default: contract notices (cn-standard). Others: pin-only, can-standard (award), cn-social, cn-desg.

## `publishedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Only notices published in the last N days (default 7).

## `openOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Skip tenders whose submission deadline has passed.

## `onlyNew` (type: `boolean`):

Remembers already returned notices (named key-value store) - ideal with a daily schedule for alerts.

## `language` (type: `string`):

Language used for title and buyer name when available (fallback: English, then original).

## `includeSimap` (type: `boolean`):

Adds tenders published only on simap.ch (Swiss federal, cantonal and municipal). Uses the same keywords, CPV codes, notice types and date window; buyer-country filter must be empty or include CHE. maxItems applies to each source. Rows carry source='simap.ch' and the disclaimer required by simap.ch.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of tenders to save.

## `expertQuery` (type: `string`):

Raw TED expert search query, e.g. buyer-country=CHE AND publication-date>=20260101. See docs.ted.europa.eu.
