Pay per usage

This Actor is paid per platform usage. The Actor is free to use, and you only pay for the Apify platform usage, which gets cheaper the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## LinkedIn Company Employees Scraper — No Cookies

List the people who work at a company on LinkedIn, from a company ID. No login, no cookie, no browser session.

Every row carries a `urn` and a `public_identifier`, so an employee list feeds straight into the profile, posts, and reactions Actors.

### Input

| Field | Type | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| `company_id` | string | — | **Required.** LinkedIn company ID. |
| `maxItems` | integer | `100` | Caps how many employees are saved. `0` means no limit. |

```json
{
  "company_id": "1035",
  "maxItems": 100
}
```

This takes the numeric ID, not the handle. Run [LinkedIn Company Scraper](https://apify.com/toolzerhub/linkedin-company-scraper) on `microsoft` and use the `id` off that row.

### Output

One row per employee.

| Field | What it holds |
|---|---|
| `id` | LinkedIn member ID |
| `urn` | Profile URN — the input for the posts and reactions Actors |
| `public_identifier` | Username, e.g. `williamhgates` |
| `full_name` | Employee's name |
| `headline` | Their headline |
| `company_id` | The company you searched |
| `page` | Which result page the row came from |
| `data` | Everything else on the record |

```json
{
  "id": "251749025",
  "urn": "ACoAAA8BYqUBCGLg6-1234abcd",
  "public_identifier": "satyanadella",
  "full_name": "Satya Nadella",
  "headline": "Chairman and CEO at Microsoft",
  "company_id": "1035",
  "page": 1
}
```

### Pagination

Pages are pulled until LinkedIn reports no more, a page comes back empty, or `maxItems` is hit. The `page` field on each row tells you where it came from, which is useful when a run stops early and you want to resume.

Set `maxItems: 0` to take everything offered — but see the ceiling question below before assuming that means every employee.

### Questions

**Do I get every employee?**
No, and no tool can. LinkedIn's people-at-this-company surface pages through a bounded result set rather than exposing a complete roster — the same behaviour you see in the browser, where scrolling eventually stops well short of the headcount on the company page. A 200,000-employee company will not return 200,000 rows. What you get is a large sample, ordered by LinkedIn.

**Why is the row count lower than the employee count on the company page?**
That number counts members who list the company as their employer. This Actor returns what the browsable list serves, which is a subset. Treat the company-page figure as the headline and these rows as the reachable sample.

**Where do I get `company_id`?**
From [LinkedIn Company Scraper](https://apify.com/toolzerhub/linkedin-company-scraper) — the `id` field. Handles like `microsoft` won't work here.

**Can I filter to a role or seniority?**
Not on this Actor; it lists the company's people as LinkedIn orders them. To filter, use [People Search](https://apify.com/toolzerhub/linkedin-people-search-scraper), which takes `current_company` alongside `title`, `industry`, and location.

**Do I need a LinkedIn account or cookie?**
No. Nothing logs in and no `li_at` is passed.

**Are email addresses included?**
No. Public profiles don't publish them, and nothing here infers or looks them up.

**What happens if a page request fails?**
The run stops there and keeps everything already collected instead of crashing. A short dataset means either the list was exhausted or a page failed — the log tells you which.
