## Pricing

from $2.80 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

# README

## RedNote (Xiaohongshu) Product Recommendations Scraper

Collect the public “you may also like” products shown alongside one RedNote or Xiaohongshu product and save each real recommended item as a separate row.

### What gets filtered

RedNote mixes product recommendations with unrelated UI and experiment configuration blocks in the same response. The Actor removes those blocks before saving results. Every output row is a recommended product — never a stray configuration object.

### Request

**`product_id`** is required. **`maxItems`** defaults to `100`; set `0` to keep collecting until the recommendation list ends.

The Store form prefills **`region`** with `US`, but the schema does not impose a default. Send the region explicitly when you want a localized result.

```json
{
  "product_id": "6627305f3152260001509721",
  "region": "US",
  "maxItems": 40
}
```

### Recommended-product row

| Field | Contents |
|---|---|
| **`item_id`**, **`sku_id`** | Product and SKU IDs |
| **`title`**, **`link`**, **`image`** | Listing identity and asset |
| **`seller_id`** | Seller ID |
| **`item_sale_num`** | Reported units sold |
| **`buyable`** | Whether RedNote reports the item as purchasable |
| **`price`**, **`price_display`**, **`currency`** | Numeric, formatted, and currency price fields |
| **`track`** | Recommendation tracking metadata |

```json
{
  "item_id": "65f735233b4dcf000175fa0b",
  "sku_id": "66ddbb6fb271ae0001d58910",
  "title": "Matte magnetic phone case",
  "seller_id": "65d704a2de7c970001f93c3b",
  "item_sale_num": 277205,
  "buyable": true,
  "price": 1.47,
  "price_display": "$1.47",
  "currency": "$"
}
```

Pagination stops at your cap, an empty page, no next cursor, or a repeated cursor.

### Questions

**Why don't I see experiment blocks in the dataset?**

They aren't products. The Actor selects only the recommendation components that contain actual product entries and discards the rest.

**Is `US` always used if I omit `region`?**

Don't rely on that. `US` is the Store prefill, not a schema default. Send **`region`** explicitly when localization matters.

**Does this require a RedNote session?**

No. Login, cookie, and session-token input isn't required or accepted.

# Actor input Schema

## `product_id` (type: `string`):

A RedNote product ID, as returned by the Product Search Actor. A product page URL is not accepted — paste the ID itself.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Maximum rows to save. Set 0 to keep collecting until the source is exhausted.

## `region` (type: `string`):

Optional region code for localized feeds and trends.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "product_id": "6627305f3152260001509721",
  "maxItems": 20,
  "region": "US"
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `dataset` (type: `string`):

Every record collected during this run
