## Pricing

from $2.10 / 1,000 company scrapeds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## LinkedIn Company Scraper — Industry, Size, HQ, Employees & Posts

Enrich a list of companies with their **public LinkedIn company page** data — **no LinkedIn account, no cookies, no risk to your profile**:

**name, LinkedIn company ID, tagline, description, website, industry, company size, employees on LinkedIn, followers, headquarters, company type, founded year, specialties, all office locations, logo, a sample of employees, similar companies and recent posts** (text, date, likes).

### How to run it in 3 steps

1. **Add your input.** In **LinkedIn company URLs or slugs** paste LinkedIn company slugs or company page links — e.g. `apify` or `https://www.linkedin.com/company/stripe/`. The form is already filled with a working example, so you can skip this step for a first try.
2. **Press Start.** The prefilled run returns 2 companys in about 15 s and costs about **$0.006**. Set **Max results (cost cap)** to cap the cost of bigger runs; you only pay for companies actually delivered.
3. **Get the data.** Open the **Output** tab and export JSON, CSV or Excel — or run it from the API, Make, Zapier, n8n or an AI agent (see below).

### Features

- **No login needed** — public pages only; your LinkedIn account is never touched.
- **Firmographics for lead scoring:** size, industry, HQ, founded, employees count, followers.
- **Lead expansion:** `similarPages` gives you 10 lookalike companies per company.
- **HTTP only, no browser:** plain HTTP, rotating datacenter IPs. Pay per company: $3 per 1,000.

### Use cases

- **CRM enrichment** for sales and marketing teams (HubSpot, Salesforce, Clay).
- **ICP filtering:** keep only 51–200 employee SaaS companies in a given city.
- **Competitor & market mapping** with similar companies.
- **Investor research:** headcount on LinkedIn and posting activity.

### Input

```json
{
  "companies": ["apify", "https://www.linkedin.com/company/stripe/", "https://www.linkedin.com/school/stanford-university/"],
  "includePosts": true
}
```

### Output

#### Real output (default input)

Companies that don't exist are listed in `FAILED_COMPANIES` in the key-value store and are not charged.

### Lead-generation workflow: works well with

The same people who use this actor usually need one of these next:

- **[Google Maps Scraper: Leads with Phones, Emails & Socials](https://apify.com/torix33/google-maps-scraper)** — find local businesses on Google Maps with phones, emails and social links
- **[Contact Info & Contact Details Scraper: Emails, Phone Numbers](https://apify.com/torix33/website-contact-details-extractor)** — turn any list of websites into emails, phones and social profiles
- **[Website Tech Stack Detector: CMS, Analytics, CRM & More](https://apify.com/torix33/website-tech-stack-detector)** — qualify the leads by the technologies their websites use (Shopify, HubSpot, Stripe…)
- **[Google Play Scraper: Apps, Developer Emails, Ratings & Reviews](https://apify.com/torix33/google-play-scraper)** — collect Google Play apps with developer emails and websites
- **[TikTok Profile Scraper: Followers, Likes, Bio Emails](https://apify.com/torix33/tiktok-profile-scraper)** — find TikTok creators with follower counts and bio emails
- **[Shopify Store & Product Scraper: Prices, Variants, Stock](https://apify.com/torix33/shopify-store-scraper)** — scrape the product catalog of any Shopify store you found

### Pricing

- **$3.00 per 1,000 companies** ($0.003 per company).
- The prefilled input is billed for 2 companies → **$0.006**.
- Example: 1,000 companies → $3.00; 10,000 → $30.00. Set **Max results (cost cap)** to limit any run.

* Companies that are not found are free.
* Your Apify spending limit is respected exactly: the actor stops charging and finishes cleanly when it is reached. Apify platform usage (compute, proxy) is included in the price.

### Use with AI agents (MCP), LangChain, RAG & the API

This actor is a ready-made **tool for AI agents**: an LLM can call it, wait for the run and read clean JSON back.

**MCP server (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, any MCP client)** — add Apify's hosted MCP server with this actor enabled as a tool:

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "apify": {
      "url": "https://mcp.apify.com/?tools=torix33/linkedin-company-scraper",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer <APIFY_TOKEN>" }
    }
  }
}
```

**LangChain / LangGraph** (`pip install langchain-apify`, set `APIFY_API_TOKEN`):

```python
import json
from langchain_apify import ApifyActorsTool, ApifyWrapper
from langchain_core.documents import Document
## 1) give the actor to an agent as a tool
tool = ApifyActorsTool("torix33/linkedin-company-scraper")
## 2) or load results as Documents for a RAG index
loader = ApifyWrapper().call_actor(
    actor_id="torix33/linkedin-company-scraper",
    run_input={"companies": ["apify", "https://www.linkedin.com/company/stripe/", "https://www.linkedin.com/school/stanford-university/"], "includePosts": True},
    dataset_mapping_function=lambda item: Document(page_content=json.dumps(item, ensure_ascii=False), metadata={"url": item.get("url")}),
)
docs = loader.load()
```

**REST API — one synchronous call, dataset items in the response:**

```bash
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/torix33~linkedin-company-scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=<APIFY_TOKEN>" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"companies": ["apify", "https://www.linkedin.com/company/stripe/", "https://www.linkedin.com/school/stanford-university/"], "includePosts": true}'
```

Also works with the Apify Python/JS clients, **Make, Zapier, n8n**, Google Sheets, webhooks and schedules. Export as JSON, CSV, Excel, XML or RSS.

**RAG tip:** Use it as an enrichment tool in an agent: pass a company slug or URL, get `industry`, `companySize` and `headquarters` back, and score the lead.

### Limitations

- Public company pages only: no employee lists, no people profiles, no login or cookies.
- LinkedIn blocks many server IPs; keep Apify Proxy enabled (prefilled). Without it, runs from datacenter IPs can return nothing.
- Fields LinkedIn does not show publicly for a company (e.g. founded year) are empty.

### FAQ

**Do I need a LinkedIn account?**
No. Public company pages only; your account is never touched.

**What input does it accept?**
Company URLs (`linkedin.com/company/...`) or slugs.

**Can I find lookalike companies?**
Yes. `similarPages` returns about 10 similar companies for each company.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

One per line: <code>https://www.linkedin.com/company/apify/</code> or just <code>apify</code>. School and showcase pages work too.

## `includePosts` (type: `boolean`):

Add the company's recent public posts (text, date, likes, URL).

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many companies. <code>0</code> = no limit.
