## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Contact Details Scraper – emails, phones and social profiles from websites

Give it a list of websites and get back, for each site, **email addresses, phone numbers and social media profiles**: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, GitHub, WhatsApp and Telegram.

It crawls each site intelligently. The **homepage, contact, about, team, legal notice and impressum** pages come first, in English, French, German, Spanish and Italian. You get one clean row per website.

**Pay only for results:** you are charged only for websites where at least one contact detail was found. Unreachable websites, or sites with nothing to find, are free.

### Why this Contact Details Scraper?

- 💸 **Per-website pricing:** $4 per 1,000 websites with contacts found, whatever the number of pages crawled. Many alternatives charge per page.
- 🎯 **Smart crawl:** contact-related pages first, up to 50 pages per site.
- ✉️ **Clean emails:** `mailto:` links and visible text are scanned, `name [at] domain [dot] com` obfuscation is decoded, and junk is filtered out (image file names, tracking addresses, placeholders like example.com). Emails on the website's own domain are listed separately in `emailsOnDomain`.
- 📞 **Validated phone numbers** in international format (country detected from the domain).
- 🌐 **10 social networks** detected.
- ⚡ **Fast:** no browser, 20+ websites in parallel.

### Use cases

- **B2B lead generation:** enrich a list of company websites with contact emails and LinkedIn pages.
- **Google Maps or directory leads:** export businesses with their websites, then add their contacts here.
- **Partnerships and outreach:** find the right inbox for agencies, shops, media and SaaS companies.
- **CRM cleaning:** fill in missing emails, phones and social links.

### Pricing

**$4 per 1,000 websites where contacts are found** ($0.004 per site). No per-page fees, no start fee. Sites without contacts and unreachable sites are not charged. Cap your spending with **Maximum cost per run**.

### Limitations

- Content loaded only by JavaScript, or hidden behind forms, CAPTCHAs or images, can't be read. That's rare for contact pages.
- Some websites block cloud servers. If many of your sites fail, enable the proxy option.

### Responsible use and GDPR

This tool only reads information that websites publish publicly. Professional contact data can be personal data under the GDPR. You are responsible for having a legal basis (e.g. legitimate interest in B2B), for informing people, and for respecting opt-outs and anti-spam laws. Do not use it for spam.

# Actor input Schema

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Website URLs or plain domains, one per line (e.g. example.com). Thousands are fine.

## `maxPagesPerSite` (type: `integer`):

The homepage plus the most relevant pages (contact, about, team, legal notice/impressum…) are visited first.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many websites to process at the same time.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Usually not needed. Enable it if many websites refuse the connection.

  ],
  "maxPagesPerSite": 10,

  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": false
  }
}
```
# Actor output Schema
## `contacts` (type: `string`):
One item per website with emails, phones and social profiles.
