This Actor is paid per platform usage. The Actor is free to use, and you only pay for the Apify platform usage, which gets cheaper the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Google Hotels Prices

Get **hotel prices, ratings, star class, location and details from Google Hotels** for any destination and dates. One clean row per hotel, ready for spreadsheets, dashboards and AI agents.

- ✅ **Reliable:** built to finish its runs, with automatic retries on every search
- 🏨 **More than 20 hotels per city:** Google shows about 20 per search, so this Actor runs extra searches ("4 star hotels in…", "vacation rentals in…") and merges them without duplicates. Big cities easily give 150+.
- 📅 **Your dates:** set check-in and check-out to get real nightly prices for that stay
- 💱 **Any currency:** prices come in US dollars, plus an optional conversion (EUR, GBP, JPY…) at the European Central Bank's daily rate

### Use cases

- **Price monitoring:** schedule daily runs to track rates in your area or for competitors
- **Travel apps and AI agents:** feed live hotel options for a trip
- **Market research:** compare ratings, star class and prices across cities
- **Revenue management:** see where your property sits against the market

### How to use it

1. Add one or more **destinations** ("Austin, TX", "Paris", "Shibuya, Tokyo").
2. Set **check-in** and **check-out** dates (YYYY-MM-DD), or leave both empty for Google's default dates.
3. Choose **max hotels per destination** (default 50).
4. Optional: **Convert prices to** another currency.
5. Run it and download results as JSON, CSV or Excel, or via the API.

```
### Good to know
- **Prices** are Google's lowest nightly rate for the stay, before taxes (`pricePerNightWithTaxesText` shows the price with taxes as text). They are for Google's default number of guests.
- **Currency:** Google shows prices for the visitor's location, which is the US on Apify's servers. Use *Convert prices to* for other currencies.
- **Proxy:** the default Apify Proxy works well. If you run very large jobs and see failed searches, switch to the Residential group.
- Only public data shown on Google Hotels is collected. No login is used.
# Actor input Schema
## `destinations` (type: `array`):
Cities, neighborhoods or areas, e.g. "Austin, TX", "Shibuya, Tokyo", "Paris".
## `checkIn` (type: `string`):
YYYY-MM-DD, e.g. 2026-12-10. Leave both dates empty to use Google's default dates.
## `checkOut` (type: `string`):
YYYY-MM-DD, after the check-in date.
## `maxHotelsPerDestination` (type: `integer`):
Google shows about 20 hotels per search, so for more the Actor runs extra searches (e.g. "4 star hotels in…") and merges them without duplicates. Large cities usually give 100-200.
## `currency` (type: `string`):
Google shows prices in US dollars on Apify's servers. Set another currency (EUR, GBP, JPY...) to also get each price converted at today's European Central Bank rate.
## `language` (type: `string`):
Two-letter language code (en, de, es...).
## `country` (type: `string`):
Two-letter country code for Google (us, gb, de...). Affects prices shown and which booking sites appear.
## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):
Apify Proxy (default) works well. If you run very large jobs and see failed searches, switch to the Residential group.
