$5.00 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Events Scraper: Eventbrite, Luma & Meetup

Search events in any city on **Eventbrite, Luma and Meetup in a single run** and get them in **one clean format**. No API keys, no login.

### What you get

For every event:

- `title`, `url`, `description`
- `startDate`, `endDate`, `timezone`
- `venueName`, `address`, `city`, `region`, `country`, `latitude`, `longitude`
- `isOnline`, `isFree`, `priceMin`, `priceMax`, `currency`, `soldOut`
- `organizerName`, `organizerUrl`, `organizerFollowers`, `attendeeCount`
- `categories`, `imageUrl`, `source`, `scrapedAt`

Fields a site does not publish are `null` (for example Luma has no description in its public feed, Eventbrite does not show attendee counts).

### How to use

1. Type a **location** (`New York`, `London`, `Istanbul`).
2. Optional: add **keywords**, a **date range**, or choose only some sources.
3. Run. Results appear in the dataset; download as JSON, CSV or Excel.

### Input example

```json
{
    "location": "London",
    "query": "startup",
    "sources": ["eventbrite", "luma", "meetup"],
    "startDate": "2026-11-01",
    "endDate": "2026-11-30",
    "maxResultsPerSource": 100
}
```

Set `onlineOnly` to search online events instead of a place (Eventbrite and Meetup).

### Good to know

- You are charged per event saved. Set **Max events per source** to control the cost. A run stops by itself at your maximum cost per run.
- If one site is down, the others still finish and you are not charged for what was not saved.
- Eventbrite and Meetup rank keyword results by meaning, so a few results may not contain the exact word. Luma matches words in the title and host names.
- Luma shows events nearest to your location; the radius filter applies to Luma and Meetup.
- Only public event information is collected.

### Use cases

Lead lists for event organizers and sponsors, local event calendars, market research on what is happening in a city, newsletters, travel and nightlife apps.

# Actor input Schema

## `location` (type: `string`):

City or place to search around, for example New York, London, Istanbul. Leave empty only if you turn on online events only.

## `query` (type: `string`):

Optional. Example: python, yoga, startup. Eventbrite and Meetup search by meaning; Luma matches words in the title and host names.

## `sources` (type: `array`):

Which sites to search.

## `startDate` (type: `string`):

Optional. Format YYYY-MM-DD. Empty = from today.

## `endDate` (type: `string`):

Optional. Format YYYY-MM-DD.

## `onlineOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Search online events instead of a place. Not available for Luma.

## `radiusKm` (type: `integer`):

Used by Luma and Meetup. Eventbrite searches the whole city.

## `maxResultsPerSource` (type: `integer`):

Upper limit for each site. You pay per event saved.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Optional. Helps if a site starts blocking.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "location": "New York",
  "query": "",
  "sources": [
    "eventbrite",
    "luma",
    "meetup"
  ],
  "startDate": "",
  "endDate": "",
  "onlineOnly": false,
  "radiusKm": 50,
  "maxResultsPerSource": 100,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": false
  }
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

No description

# API

You can run this Actor programmatically using our API. Below are code examples in JavaScript, Python, and CLI, as well as the OpenAPI specification and MCP server setup.

## JavaScript example

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
    token: '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>',
});
// Prepare Actor input
const input = {
    "location": "New York",
    "sources": [
        "eventbrite",
        "luma",
        "meetup"
    ],
    "proxyConfiguration": {
        "useApifyProxy": false
    }
};
// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("trendcraft/events-scraper").call(input);
// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
console.log(`💾 Check your data here: https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/${run.defaultDatasetId}`);
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
items.forEach((item) => {
    console.dir(item);
});
