## Pricing

from $1.00 / 1,000 events

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## 🎪 10times Events Scraper — Trade Shows, Expos & Conferences

🎯 **Turn the world's largest trade show directory into a clean event list — by country, city and industry.**

Collect trade shows, expos, conferences and workshops from 10times.com listings: event name, dates, city, country, industry categories, short description, followers, interested count and rating — hundreds of events per run, at a fraction of a cent each.

### 🚀 What Does It Do?

This scraper browses 10times.com listing pages and collects **structured, ready-to-use data** about business events worldwide. No manual browsing needed — just pick a country or city, an industry and an event type, and hit Start.

💡 **Two modes of operation:**

1. **🔍 Discovery Mode** — choose a country or city, an event type (trade shows, conferences, workshops) and optionally an industry. Big listings are explored through their city and industry sub-listings automatically, so you get far more than the first page.
2. **📋 Direct URL Mode** — paste any 10times listing link (a country, city or industry listing) and get its events.

🔁 **Monitoring mode** — schedule the scraper and receive only events that are **new or changed** since the last run.

ℹ️ **Listing data only.** The scraper reads 10times listing pages — the fields shown in the event lists. It does not open individual event pages, so venue address, organizer, visitor estimates and exhibitor lists are not included.

### ❓ FAQ

**🤔 Why do some listings stop at about 40 events?**
10times shows visitors roughly 40 events per listing. With "Dig deeper into big listings" on (default), the scraper also walks the city and industry sub-listings of that listing, so a country search returns hundreds of events.

**🤔 Does it include venue, organizer, visitor estimates or exhibitor lists?**
No. Those are on individual event pages, which 10times limits for visitors without an account. This scraper reads listing pages only, which keeps it fast and cheap.

**🤔 How does monitoring work?**
Turn on "Only new or changed events" and schedule the run. The first run saves a baseline; every later run returns only events that are new, have new dates or a new edition, or came back. Give it a monitoring name to keep several watchlists apart.

**🤔 Are past events included?**
No — the scraper focuses on upcoming and running events. Use the date window to narrow it further.

**🤔 Can I export the data?**
Yes — JSON, CSV, Excel, XML, HTML, RSS. You can also push data directly to Google Sheets, Zapier, Make, or any webhook/API endpoint.

**🤔 How often should I run this?**
For fresh data, run daily or weekly. You can schedule automatic runs on Apify with just a few clicks.

**🤔 Does it work with proxies?**
Yes — it uses Apify residential proxy by default, because 10times blocks most datacenter IPs.

### 🛠️ Need Custom Filters or Features?

**I'm happy to customize this scraper for your specific needs!** 🤝

Whether you need:

- 🎯 Additional filters (minimum followers, rating, specific months)
- 📊 Extra data fields or custom output formats
- 🔄 Integration with your CRM, Google Sheets, or database
- ⏰ Scheduled scraping with automatic deduplication
- 🌐 Scraping from other event directories alongside 10times

👉 **Don't hesitate to reach out via private message** — I respond quickly and I'm always open to building exactly what you need. No request is too small or too specific!

### ⚖️ Legal & Ethical Use

This scraper collects **only publicly available event information** from 10times.com listing pages that any visitor can see without an account. It does not log in, does not collect attendee or visitor profiles, and keeps a polite pace. 10times asks for attribution ("Source: 10times.com") when its data is reused — please credit the source and use the data responsibly and in compliance with applicable laws and the site's terms.

# Actor input Schema

## `location` (type: `string`):

Country or city to search, as written in 10times links: a country like 'germany', 'usa', 'unitedkingdom', 'unitedarabemirates', or a city like 'berlin-de', 'lasvegas-us', 'dubai-ae'. Leave empty for worldwide.

## `eventType` (type: `string`):

Which kind of events to list.

## `industry` (type: `string`):

Limit results to one industry vertical.

## `keyword` (type: `string`):

Keep only events whose name, description, categories or tags contain all of these words (e.g. 'hydrogen' or 'dental, implant'). Applied to the events found by the search above.

## `dateFrom` (type: `string`):

Keep only events that are still running on or after this date (YYYY-MM-DD). Past events are always skipped.

## `dateTo` (type: `string`):

Keep only events that start on or before this date (YYYY-MM-DD).

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Optional. Any 10times listing page, e.g. https://10times.com/germany/tradeshows or https://10times.com/berlin-de/technology/conferences. When set, the search fields above are ignored. Single event pages are not supported.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of events to return. 0 = no limit.

## `expandListings` (type: `boolean`):

10times shows about 40 events per listing to visitors. When a listing has more, also walk its industry and city sub-listings to reach the rest.

## `maxListingPages` (type: `integer`):

Safety cap on how many listing pages (including sub-listings) one run may open.

## `incrementalMode` (type: `boolean`):

Remember what earlier runs returned and output only events that are new, changed (dates, venue, edition) or back again. The first run outputs everything and saves the baseline.

## `stateKey` (type: `string`):

Optional name for the monitoring memory. Runs with the same name share it. Leave empty to derive it from the search settings.

## `emitUnchanged` (type: `boolean`):

In monitoring mode, output unchanged events too (tagged UNCHANGED).

## `emitExpired` (type: `boolean`):

In monitoring mode, output a short EXPIRED record for events that no longer appear in the results.

## `compact` (type: `boolean`):

Leave out fields that have no value.

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many pages are loaded at the same time. Keep it low — 10times slows down busy visitors.

## `requestIntervalMs` (type: `integer`):

Minimum gap between two page loads. The run widens it automatically if the site asks to slow down.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Residential proxy by default: 10times limits anonymous page views per IP and blocks most datacenter IPs. Each browser session gets a fresh residential IP.

## `fallbackToResidential` (type: `boolean`):

Retry through Apify residential proxy if the site refuses the connection.

## `dumpHtml` (type: `boolean`):

Store the first listing and event page in the run's key-value store for troubleshooting.
