## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## LinkedIn Jobs Scraper: Full Details, Only New Jobs, $1.50/1,000

Get LinkedIn job listings as clean rows, with the full job page:

- **Search by keywords and location**, or **paste any LinkedIn job search URL** and its filters are used
  as they are.
- **Filters**: date posted (past hour, 24 hours, week, month), job type, experience level, remote /
  hybrid / on-site, distance, most recent or most relevant.
- **For each job**: title, company, company page, logo, location, date posted, salary when LinkedIn
  shows it, and the link.
- **Full details** (on by default): the whole description, number of applicants, seniority level,
  employment type, industry, and whether you apply on LinkedIn ("easyApply") or on the
  company's site ("external").
- **Pay written in the description**: when the salary is only in the text ("$34 - $40 per hour"), it is
  pulled out into its own field.

### Why this one

- **Only new jobs.** Turn on "Only new jobs" and run it on a schedule: each run returns only the jobs
  your earlier runs have not returned. Jobs it skips are not charged.
- **No login, no cookies.** It reads LinkedIn's public job pages, the ones anyone can open.
- **Fast and cheap.** No browser. It starts on its own IP and switches to residential IPs by itself if
  LinkedIn starts blocking.
- **Fair charging.** A job whose page could not be read is still returned, marked, and charged at the
  cheaper listing price. Errors and empty searches are free.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| `keywords` | One search per line. |
| `location` | "United States", "Texas", "Austin, TX"… |
| `searchUrls` | LinkedIn job search URLs, used as they are. |
| `maxJobs` | Max jobs per search (LinkedIn shows at most about 1,000). |
| `datePosted` | `any`, `hour`, `24h`, `week`, `month`. |
| `jobTypes`, `experienceLevels`, `workplaceTypes` | Filters, as on LinkedIn. |
| `sortBy` | `recent` or `relevant`. |
| `includeDetails` | Full job page. Off = listing only, cheaper. |
| `onlyNew` + `historyName` | Skip jobs your earlier runs already returned. |

```json
{
  "keywords": ["hvac technician"],
  "location": "Texas",
  "datePosted": "week",
  "jobTypes": ["full-time"],
  "maxJobs": 200,
  "onlyNew": true
}
```

### Output

One row per job.

Real row from a test run on Apify on 18 October 2026 (description shortened, logo left out):

```json
{
  "search": "hvac technician",
  "rank": 1,
  "jobId": "4461515831",
  "url": "https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/4461515831",
  "title": "HVAC Service Technician II",
  "company": "Daikin Applied Americas",
  "companyUrl": "https://www.linkedin.com/company/daikin-applied",
  "location": "Fort Myers, FL",
  "postedAt": "2026-10-14",
  "postedText": "3 days ago",
  "salary": null,
  "benefits": "Be an early applicant",
  "description": "Join the world's largest HVAC company, named by Forbes as one of America's Best-In-State Employers 2025!\n\nDaikin Applied is seeking a Service Technician II. ...",
  "seniority": "Not Applicable",
  "employmentType": "Full-time",
  "industries": "Industrial Machinery Manufacturing",
  "applicantsText": "Be among the first 25 applicants",
  "applicants": null,
  "applyType": "external",
  "salaryInDescription": "$27.60 - $44.29",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-18T06:14:57Z"
}
```

In that test, 30 of 30 jobs came back with full details in 32 seconds. A second run with "Only new
jobs" on skipped all 30 and returned 30 other jobs.

### Pricing

- **Job with full details: $1.50 per 1,000.**
- **Listing only** (details off, or a job page that could not be read): **$0.60 per 1,000.**
- Errors, empty searches and jobs skipped by "Only new jobs" are free.

### Notes

- LinkedIn shows at most about 1,000 jobs for one search. To get more, split it: by location, by
  job type, or by date posted.
- Jobs are LinkedIn's public listings. Use the data in line with LinkedIn's terms and the laws that
  apply to you.
