## Pricing

from $0.70 / 1,000 analysis rows

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## SERP Dataset Analyzer — rankings, share of voice, People Also Ask

**For SEO teams and agencies that already scrape Google results** with `apify/google-search-scraper`. This Actor turns
that raw dataset into **the tables an SEO team actually reads** — rank tracking, share of voice, People Also Ask —
with no Google access, no proxies, no scraping. **$1.00 per 1,000 rows written.**

- **Your best position per keyword** (and the ranking URL) for one or more of your domains
- **Top 3 domains** per keyword, organic and paid result counts, whether People Also Ask appears
- **Domain table**: appearances, number of keywords, average and best position, top-3 count, **share of voice**
  (share of all top-10 organic results)
- **Related queries** and **People Also Ask questions** as flat rows, tagged with the keyword they came from
- Tolerates missing fields; country and device variants of a keyword are kept separate
- Reading datasets is free.

### Use cases

- Rank tracking: your best position and ranking URL per keyword
- Competitor share of voice across a keyword list
- Content ideas from People Also Ask and related queries

### Input

```json
{
  "datasetIds": ["<dataset ID of your Google Search scraper run>"],
  "yourDomains": ["example.com"],
  "topN": 10
}
```

Leave `datasetIds` empty to see a free demo on sample data (rows carry `_demo: true`).

### Output

Every row has a `type`:

```json
{"type": "keyword", "term": "running shoes", "countryCode": "US", "device": "DESKTOP", "yourBestPosition": 4,
 "yourUrl": "https://www.example.com/shoes", "top3Domains": ["a.com", "b.com", "c.org"], "organicCount": 10,
 "paidCount": 1, "hasPeopleAlsoAsk": true}
{"type": "domain", "domain": "a.com", "appearances": 12, "keywordsCount": 9, "avgPosition": 2.4, "bestPosition": 1,
 "top3Count": 8, "shareOfVoice": 0.1143}
{"type": "relatedQuery", "text": "running shoes for flat feet", "fromKeyword": "running shoes"}
{"type": "question", "text": "How often should I replace running shoes?", "fromKeyword": "running shoes"}
```

A run summary (pages read, keywords, domains, your coverage and average best position, keywords with ads / PAA) is
saved in the key-value store as `SUMMARY`.

### Pricing

$1.00 per 1,000 rows written (event `row`). The demo is free.

### Notes

This Actor only processes datasets you already own; it does not access Google. You are responsible for how the
underlying data was collected and used.

# Actor input Schema

## `datasetIds` (type: `array`):

Dataset IDs (the 'defaultDatasetId' of a finished run of the source Actor, e.g. 'WkzbQMuFYuamGv3YF'). Datasets from your Google Search scraper runs (e.g. apify/google-search-scraper). Several runs are combined. Leave empty to run a free demo on sample data (not charged).

## `yourDomains` (type: `array`):

Optional. Your own domains (e.g. \['example.com']). Subdomains match too. Used to report your best position per keyword.

## `topN` (type: `integer`):

Only organic results at or above this position are counted in the domain table (appearances, average position). Allowed range 1 to 100 (default 10).

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "topN": 10
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

Rows with a 'type' field: keyword rows (yourBestPosition, top3Domains, organicCount), domain rows (appearances, avgPosition, shareOfVoice) and text rows (related queries, People Also Ask).

## `summary` (type: `string`):

Record SUMMARY: run counts and overall totals.
