## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Argentina Company Registry: New Companies & CUIT Lookup

**English** · [Español](#español)

Argentina Company Registry is an Apify Actor that returns official company records from Argentina's Registro Nacional de Sociedades, about 1.27 million legal entities. Export newly incorporated companies (about 3,000 a month) filtered by province, legal type and activity code, or look up companies by CUIT in bulk. Pricing starts at USD 0.005 per company. It is the only Actor on Apify that lists newly incorporated Argentine companies.

No scraping, no login, no proxies. Official open data (CC-BY 4.0), with the source and license on every row. Unofficial: not endorsed by the Ministry of Justice or ARCA.

### What can you do with Argentina Company Registry?

- **Lead lists (agencies, B2B sales):** get the new SAS (SOCIEDAD POR ACCION SIMPLIFICADA) companies incorporated in CORDOBA this quarter, or every new company in CABA with a software activity code.
- **Accountants and service providers:** new companies need an accountant, a bank account, insurance and software. Reach them in their first months.
- **KYB (fintech, marketplaces):** confirm legal name, legal type, incorporation date and registered address for hundreds of CUITs in one run.
- **Market research:** count new companies by province, legal type or activity.

### How many new companies are incorporated in Argentina each month?

About 3,000. The official snapshot of 18 September 2026 lists 33,614 companies incorporated in 2024 and 35,763 in 2025 (about 2,980 a month). January is the slowest month (1,500–2,000); most other months fall between 2,500 and 3,500.

| January–August 2026 | Companies |
|---|---|
| CIUDAD AUTONOMA BUENOS AIRES (CABA) | 8,305 |
| BUENOS AIRES (province) | 3,561 |
| CORDOBA | 3,275 (about 410 a month) |
| MENDOZA | 1,359 |
| SANTA FE | 1,149 |
| **All provinces** | **21,263** |

By legal type (January–August 2026): SAS 44%, SRL 31%, SA 14.5%. Software and IT (activity code 62): 801 new companies by main activity, 968 counting any active activity.

Recent months are incomplete because registration takes time: July 2026 shows 2,330 and August 2026 shows 1,856, versus about 3,000 in earlier months. For lead lists, query a rolling window of the last 90 days and deduplicate by CUIT. These figures are counted from the snapshot by incorporation date and will change with the next snapshot.

### What data do you get?

| Field | Example |
| --- | --- |
| `cuit` / `cuitFormatted` | `30502793175` / `30-50279317-5` |
| `name` (razón social) | `ARCOR S A I C` |
| `companyType` | `SOCIEDAD ANONIMA` (SA) |

A `RUN_SUMMARY` record in the key-value store lists the snapshot used, companies scanned and returned, and any CUITs not found.

### How to get new companies by province (CORDOBA, CABA, BUENOS AIRES)

Use the registry spelling, in capitals and without accents (accents and case are ignored, so `Córdoba` also works).

New SAS in CORDOBA since 1 August 2026:

```json
{ "constitutedAfter": "2026-08-01", "provinces": ["CORDOBA"], "companyTypes": ["SOCIEDAD POR ACCION SIMPLIFICADA"], "maxResults": 100 }
```

New software companies (activity code 62) in CABA since 1 July 2026:

```json
{ "constitutedAfter": "2026-07-01", "provinces": ["CIUDAD AUTONOMA BUENOS AIRES"], "activityCodePrefixes": ["62"], "maxResults": 500 }
```

New construction companies (activity code 41) in MENDOZA since 1 June 2026:

```json
{ "constitutedAfter": "2026-06-01", "provinces": ["MENDOZA"], "activityCodePrefixes": ["41"], "maxResults": 200 }
```

Legal types as written in the registry, with the abbreviations people use:

| `companyTypes` value | Abbreviation |
|---|---|
| `SOCIEDAD POR ACCION SIMPLIFICADA` | SAS / S.A.S. |
| `SOCIEDAD DE RESPONSABILIDAD LIMITADA` | SRL / S.R.L. |
| `SOCIEDAD ANONIMA` | SA / S.A. |
| `COOPERATIVA` | cooperative |
| `ASOCIACION CIVIL` | civil association |
| `FUNDACION` | foundation |

Province values include `CORDOBA`, `BUENOS AIRES`, `CIUDAD AUTONOMA BUENOS AIRES`, `SANTA FE`, `MENDOZA`, `TUCUMAN`, `ENTRE RIOS`, `NEUQUEN`, `RIO NEGRO` and the rest of the 24 jurisdictions.

All filters are optional and combinable: `cuits`, `constitutedAfter`, `constitutedBefore`, `provinces`, `localityContains`, `companyTypes`, `nameContains`, `activityCodePrefixes`, `activityKeywords`, `onlyActiveActivities`, `maxResults`.

### How to look up companies by CUIT in bulk

Send a list of CUITs, with or without dashes:

```json
{ "cuits": ["30-50279317-5", "30-70308853-4"] }
```

CUITs that are not found are not charged and are listed in `RUN_SUMMARY`. The CUIT check digit is validated and invalid ones are flagged in the log. With an empty input (no CUITs, no filters) the Actor runs this demo lookup of Arcor and Mercado Libre.

For a single CUIT, the official Registro Nacional de Sociedades form on argentina.gob.ar is free. This Actor is for many CUITs at once, or for lists.

### How much does it cost?

You pay USD 0.01 per run plus a price per company returned. Companies that don't match your filters and CUITs that are not found are free.

| Apify plan tier | Per company | Per 1,000 companies |
|---|---|---|
| Free / Bronze | USD 0.005 | USD 5.00 |
| Silver | USD 0.0045 | USD 4.50 |
| Gold and above | USD 0.004 | USD 4.00 |

Examples (Free/Bronze tier, default 1 GB memory = one run fee):

| Case | Calculation | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| 1 CUIT | 0.01 + 1 × 0.005 | USD 0.015 |
| 100 CUITs in one run | 0.01 + 100 × 0.005 | USD 0.51 |
| 100 new SAS in CORDOBA | 0.01 + 100 × 0.005 | USD 0.51 |
| One month of new companies in CORDOBA (~410) | 0.01 + 410 × 0.005 | USD 2.06 |
| 1,000 companies | 0.01 + 1,000 × 0.005 | USD 5.01 (USD 4.01 on Gold) |
| One month of new companies in all of Argentina (~3,000) | 0.01 + 3,000 × 0.005 | USD 15.01 |

The run fee is charged once per GB of memory, so running with more than the default 1 GB adds one fee per extra GB. Cap spending with `maxResults` and the "maximum cost per run" setting.

### Run it on a schedule or in n8n, Make, Zapier and AI agents (MCP)

- **Monthly lead list:** save a task with your filters and add an Apify Schedule (for example, the 20th of each month) to get each new snapshot's companies.
- **Integrations:** send results to Google Sheets, webhooks, n8n, Make or Zapier with Apify's integrations (docs.apify.com/platform/integrations).
- **AI agents:** add this Actor to the Apify MCP server (mcp.apify.com) and let your agent call it by name.

### How does it compare with other ways to get Argentine company data?

| | This Actor | Official RNS form | Official CSV (datos.jus.gob.ar) | AFIP/CUIT Actors in the Store | ConsultaCUIT (free API) | indicadores.ar | datasets.lat |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Look up 1 CUIT | Yes (about 1–1.5 min per run) | Yes, free | You process a ~900 MB file | Yes | Yes, free | Yes (Telegram bot, 30 free a month) | No |
| Bulk CUIT lookup | Yes | No | Yes, if you process it | Yes | One per request | API for volume (pricing not checked) | No |
| New companies | **All provinces, filter by province, legal type and activity, pay per company** | No | Yes, if you process it | No | No | Alerts, e.g. new SAS in Córdoba | One-time CSV, CABA/IGJ 2025–2026 from the Boletín Oficial, US$349 |
| Share capital and corporate purpose | No | No | No | No | No | Not checked | Yes |
| Tax status (IVA, Ganancias) | No | No | No | Some | Yes | Not checked | No |
| Email or phone | No | No | No | No | No | Not checked | Not checked |
| Source and license on every row | Yes | — | — | Varies | — | Not checked | — |

### Limitations

- Covers **legal entities** only (companies, cooperatives, associations, foundations). No individuals or sole traders (monotributistas).
- No tax status (IVA, Ganancias, Monotributo), share capital, corporate purpose, phone numbers or emails.
- Data is as fresh as the latest snapshot published by the Ministry (currently 18 September 2026). Companies from the last one to two months are under-represented.
- Every run downloads the full official snapshot (about 118 MB), so even a single CUIT takes about a minute. A filtered list of 100 companies took about 2.5 minutes in our tests.
- Some old records have filler dates (flagged) or legacy activity codes without a description.

### FAQ

**How can I get a list of newly incorporated companies in Argentina?**
Set `constitutedAfter` to a date and, optionally, `provinces`, `companyTypes` and `activityCodePrefixes`. Each result is one new company with CUIT, legal type, incorporation date, address and activity codes.

**How do I look up an Argentine company by CUIT?**
For one CUIT, use the free official Registro Nacional de Sociedades form on argentina.gob.ar. For many, put the list in `cuits` and download the results as JSON, CSV or Excel.

**How many companies are incorporated in Argentina each month?**
About 3,000: 35,763 in 2025 according to the 18 September 2026 snapshot of the Registro Nacional de Sociedades.

**Does it include emails or phone numbers?**
No. It returns CUIT, name, legal type, incorporation date, addresses and activities. Use other tools to enrich contact data.

**Does it include tax status (IVA, Ganancias, Monotributo)?**
No. Tax status comes from the ARCA taxpayer register, which is a different source.

**How fresh is the data?**
The Actor finds the newest snapshot published by the Ministry on each run (currently 18 September 2026). Recently incorporated companies can be missing because of registration delays; query the last 90 days and deduplicate by CUIT.

**Does it cover sole traders (monotributistas) or individuals?**
No. Only legal entities: companies, cooperatives, associations and foundations.

**Is this official? Can I use the data commercially?**
It is not official and not endorsed by the Ministry of Justice or ARCA. The data is licensed CC-BY 4.0, so it can be reused, including commercially, with attribution. For outreach, Argentine data-protection law (Ley 25.326) and anti-spam rules apply. This is not legal advice.

**Can I run it automatically every month or from n8n, Make, Zapier or an AI agent?**
Yes: with Apify Schedules, Apify's integrations, and the Apify MCP server.

**How much do 1,000 companies cost?**
USD 5.01 on the Free and Bronze tiers (USD 0.01 run fee plus 1,000 × USD 0.005), and USD 4.01 on Gold.

Unas 3.000. El snapshot oficial del 18 de septiembre de 2026 registra 33.614 sociedades constituidas en 2024 y 35.763 en 2025 (unas 2.980 por mes). Enero es el mes más flojo (entre 1.500 y 2.000) y casi todos los demás meses están entre 2.500 y 3.500.

| Enero a agosto de 2026 | Sociedades |
|---|---|
| CIUDAD AUTONOMA BUENOS AIRES (CABA) | 8.305 |
| BUENOS AIRES (provincia) | 3.561 |
| CORDOBA | 3.275 (unas 410 por mes) |
| MENDOZA | 1.359 |
| SANTA FE | 1.149 |

```json
{ "constitutedAfter": "2026-08-01", "provinces": ["CORDOBA"], "companyTypes": ["SOCIEDAD POR ACCION SIMPLIFICADA"], "maxResults": 100 }
```

| Caso | Costo (Free/Bronze) |
|---|---|
| 1 CUIT | USD 0,015 |

No. Trae CUIT, razón social, tipo, fecha, domicilios y actividades.

**¿Incluye monotributistas o personas humanas?**
No. Solo sociedades, cooperativas, asociaciones y fundaciones.
