## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## LinkedIn Jobs Scraper — No Login, Full Job Details

Scrape **public LinkedIn job postings** in minutes, with **no LinkedIn account, no cookies and no login**. Search by job title + location or paste your own LinkedIn job search URLs, apply filters (date posted, job type, experience level, remote / hybrid / on-site, Easy Apply, company), and get clean, deduplicated JSON, CSV or Excel with full job descriptions, seniority, employment type, industries, applicant counts, salary (when shown) and apply links.

> ⚠️ **Unofficial tool.** This Actor is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by LinkedIn Corporation. "LinkedIn" is a trademark of LinkedIn Corporation. It only reads job postings that LinkedIn shows publicly to logged-out visitors.

### ✨ Why this LinkedIn Jobs Scraper?

- 🔓 **No login, no cookies, no account risk** – uses LinkedIn's public (guest) job search pages only.
- 🎯 **All the filters you use on LinkedIn** – date posted (past hour / 24 h / week / month), job type, experience level, workplace type (remote, hybrid, on-site), Easy Apply, company IDs, geoId, distance, sort by most recent or most relevant.
- 🔗 **Paste LinkedIn search URLs** – set up a search on linkedin.com/jobs, copy the URL, done. We convert it automatically.
- 📄 **Full job details (optional)** – full description as text **and** HTML, seniority level, employment type, job function, industries, applicants count, apply URL.
- ♻️ **Deduplicated** – every job appears once per run, even across multiple keywords and URLs.
- 🛡️ **Reliable** – polite concurrency, automatic retries with session rotation, and automatic fallback from datacenter to residential proxy when LinkedIn rate-limits.
- 💸 **Pay only for jobs you get** – no charge for failed pages or duplicates.

### 🧑‍💼 Use cases

- **Job boards & aggregators** – feed fresh LinkedIn jobs into your site or app.
- **Recruiting & staffing** – find companies hiring for the roles you place.
- **Sales & lead generation** – spot companies that are growing a team (e.g. hiring "DevOps engineer" = needs cloud tooling).
- **Labour market research** – track demand, remote share, salaries and skills by city or country.
- **Job seekers & career tools** – daily alerts for new jobs (schedule the Actor with *Most recent* + *Past 24 hours*).
- **AI / LLM pipelines** – clean job descriptions for embeddings, RAG and classification.

### ❓ FAQ

**Do I need a LinkedIn account or cookies?** No. The Actor only uses LinkedIn's public job search that anyone can see without logging in. Your LinkedIn account is never involved.

**How many jobs can I get?** LinkedIn's public search returns up to ~1,000 jobs per search. To get more, add several keywords, several search URLs, or split by city — results are deduplicated automatically.

**Why do some jobs have no salary?** LinkedIn shows salary only for some postings (mostly US). When it is shown on the card or job page, we return it.

**Why is `workplaceType` sometimes empty?** LinkedIn's public cards don't always say remote/hybrid. Filter by a single workplace type to have it filled for every job.

**Is scraping LinkedIn jobs legal?** This Actor collects publicly available job postings only, without logging in, and does not collect personal data. You are responsible for using the data in line with applicable laws and LinkedIn's terms. If in doubt, consult a lawyer.

**Can I schedule it?** Yes — use Apify Schedules (e.g. every morning with *Past 24 hours* + *Most recent*) and send results to Google Sheets, Slack, webhooks, Zapier or Make.

**Something broke?** Open an issue on the Issues tab — we usually respond within a day.

### Disclaimer

This is an unofficial scraper, not affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn. It accesses only publicly available job postings without authentication and does not extract personal profile data.
