## Pricing

from $0.65 / 1,000 properties

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Zillow Search Scraper

Turn any Zillow search into a clean table of properties. Type a city, ZIP code or neighbourhood, pick **for sale**, **for rent** or **recently sold**, and get one row per home with its address, price, bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, lot size, Zestimate, rent Zestimate, days on Zillow, coordinates, photos and listing broker. You can also paste any Zillow search URL, with your own map area, filters and sort, and the Actor reads it exactly as you set it up.

It costs half of what the most used Zillow scrapers on the Store charge per result, and failed searches cost nothing.

### What you can use it for

- **Investors and flippers:** pull every active listing in a ZIP code with price, square feet and Zestimate, then sort by price per square foot or by the gap between list price and Zestimate.
- **Agents and brokers:** track new listings, days on market and price changes in your farm area every morning.
- **Rental analysis:** compare asking rents with rent Zestimates, or see unit price ranges across apartment buildings in a city.
- **Market research:** build comps from recently sold homes with sale price and sale date.
- **Lead lists and dashboards:** feed a CRM, spreadsheet or BI tool on a schedule.

### How to use it

1. Add one or more **Locations**, written the way you would type them in Zillow's search box: `Austin, TX`, `78704`, `Brooklyn, NY`, `Miami-Dade County, FL`.
2. Choose the **Listing type**: for sale, for rent or recently sold.
3. Optionally set **price**, **bedroom** and **bathroom** filters. For rentals the price is the monthly rent.
4. Or paste **Zillow search URLs** instead. Draw a map area, set filters on zillow.com, then copy the address bar.
5. Set **Max properties per search** and run. Download the results as JSON, CSV, Excel or through the API.

Zillow shows at most 820 homes (20 pages) for one search. For a large city, run it once per ZIP code or neighbourhood to cover everything.

  "searchQuery": "Austin, TX",
  "totalResults": 5753
}
```
Apartment buildings in rental searches come back as one row with `isBuilding: true`, the lowest rent in `price`, the highest in `priceMax`, the bedroom range in `beds` / `bedsMax`, and every floor plan in `units`.
### Pricing
You pay per property in the dataset. Searches that fail or return nothing are free.
| Apify plan | Price per property | Per 1,000 properties |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0.00115 | $1.15 |
| Starter (Bronze) | $0.001 | $1.00 |
| Scale (Silver) | $0.00085 | $0.85 |
| Business (Gold) | $0.00065 | $0.65 |
| Platinum | $0.0004 | $0.40 |
| Diamond | $0.0002 | $0.20 |
Set a maximum cost per run in the run options and the Actor stops cleanly when it is reached.
### FAQ
**Why are some sold prices empty?** A few US states (Texas, Utah and others) do not disclose sale prices, so Zillow does not show them either.
**Why do rental buildings have no zpid?** Zillow lists large apartment communities as buildings, not single homes. They get an `id` and a link to the building page.
**Does it open each property page?** No. Every field comes from the search results, which keeps runs fast and cheap. Fields that only exist on a property page (full description, price history, schools) are not included.
**Can I schedule it?** Yes. Save a task with your locations and run it daily or weekly from the Schedules tab.
