## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### What does Workday Jobs Scraper – Any Careers Site do?

Workday Jobs Scraper collects the public job listings of any company that hires through a Workday careers site: title, job link, requisition id, location, remote type and posted date, as clean rows ready to export or call by API.

Unofficial, not affiliated with Workday.

**Main features:** search by keyword or paste links, up to 100,000 jobs per run, no login needed, export to JSON, CSV or Excel, and full API and scheduling support on Apify.

### What data can you get from Workday?

Each job is one row with these fields:

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `jobId` | Requisition id of the job (e.g. JR2013348) (always filled) |
| `title` | Job title (always filled) |
| `url` | Page of the job on the careers site (always filled) |
| `locationsText` | Location as the site lists it (e.g. US, CA, Santa Clara), or the count when there are several (e.g. 6 Locations) |
| `postedOnText` | Posted date as the site words it (e.g. Posted Today, Posted 3 Days Ago, Posted 30+ Days Ago) |
| `postedDaysAgo` | Days since the job was posted, from postedOnText (0 = today; 30 means 30 or more) |
| `remoteType` | Remote or flexible work type, on sites that show one (e.g. Flex, Remote) |
| `cardDetails` | Other details the site shows on the job card (e.g. Posting End Date: 10/13/2026); often empty |
| `company` | Company id of the careers site on Workday (e.g. nvidia) |
| `careerSite` | Name of the careers site on Workday (e.g. NVIDIAExternalCareerSite) |
| `careerSiteUrl` | Home page of the careers site |
| `searchText` | The keyword that found the job (empty when the run lists all jobs) |
| `scrapedAt` | When the job was collected (ISO 8601) |

### How to scrape Workday with Workday Jobs Scraper – Any Careers Site

1. Open Workday Jobs Scraper – Any Careers Site on Apify and go to the **Input** tab.
2. In **Workday careers site URLs**, enter `https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite`.
3. In **Max jobs**, enter `100`.
4. Click **Start** and wait for the run to finish. A small run like this one takes under a minute.
5. Open the **Output** tab to see the results, or download them as JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML.

### Input

See the **Input** tab for every option. The fields:

| Field | Name | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
| `careerSiteUrls` | Workday careers site URLs | Links to Workday careers sites (myworkdayjobs.com or myworkdaysite.com), one per line. A link copied after filtering on the site keeps its filters. | |
| `searchText` | Search keyword | Only jobs matching this keyword, on every site (e.g. engineer, nurse, data analyst). Leave empty to list every job, or to use the keyword already in a link. | |
| `maxItems` | Max jobs | Maximum number of jobs in total, across all sites. You pay only for jobs saved. | `100` |

Example input:

```json
{
  "careerSiteUrls": [
    "https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite"
  ],
  "maxItems": 100
}
```

### Output

You can download the dataset in various formats such as JSON, HTML, CSV, or Excel. One real result:

```json
{
  "jobId": "JR2013348",
  "title": "Senior VLSI CAD Software Engineer",
  "url": "https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite/job/US-CA-Santa-Clara/Senior-VLSI-CAD-Software-Engineer_JR2013348",
  "locationsText": "6 Locations",
  "postedOnText": "Posted Today",
  "postedDaysAgo": 0,
  "remoteType": null,
  "cardDetails": [],
  "company": "nvidia",
  "careerSite": "NVIDIAExternalCareerSite",
  "careerSiteUrl": "https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite",
  "searchText": null,
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-08T21:40:23.000Z"
}
```

### How much does it cost to scrape Workday?

Workday Jobs Scraper – Any Careers Site uses pay-per-event pricing: **$2.00 per 1,000 jobs** (Job). You pay only for jobs saved to the dataset; platform usage is included in the price. Each run also has Apify's standard start fee of a fraction of a cent.

| Jobs | Price |
|---|---|
| 100 | $0.20 |
| 1,000 | $2.00 |
| 10,000 | $20.00 |

Set **Max items** (and the run's maximum cost in the run options) to cap what a run can spend. The run stops when either limit is reached.

### Use cases

- **Hiring signals:** track how many roles a company opens, in which locations and job categories, week by week.
- **Job boards and aggregators:** feed fresh listings from hundreds of employers' Workday sites into your own site or app.
- **Sales prospecting:** spot companies hiring for a team your product serves (e.g. data engineers, nurses, store managers).
- **Recruiting research:** compare competitors' open roles and locations.
- **Alerts:** schedule a daily run and send new jobs (postedDaysAgo 0) to Google Sheets, Slack or your database.

### Tips

- Open the company's careers site, filter it as you like (location, job category, time type), then copy the link from the address bar: the filters come with it.
- Put several careers sites in one run. Max jobs is shared fairly between them.
- Workday shows at most 2,000 jobs per search. For bigger sites the Actor splits the search by one of the site's own filters (job category or location) to reach the rest.
- Search keyword applies to every site in the run; leave it empty to list every job.
- The job page link (url) is the one to open or share; jobId is the employer's requisition number.

### FAQ

#### Is it legal to scrape Workday?

Workday Jobs Scraper – Any Careers Site collects only data that Workday shows publicly to every visitor, and it leaves out personal data such as private profiles and contact details. Our Actors are ethical and do not extract private user data. Results could still contain personal data in titles or descriptions written by uploaders. Personal data is protected by the GDPR in the European Union and by other regulations around the world. You should not scrape personal data unless you have a legitimate reason to do so. If you're unsure whether your reason is legitimate, consult your lawyers. You are responsible for how you use the data.

#### Can I use it through an API?

Yes. Every Apify Actor has an API: start runs, pass input and read results over HTTP, or use the JavaScript and Python clients. See the **API** tab on the Actor page for ready-made examples.

#### Can I schedule runs and connect other apps?

Yes. Use Apify **Schedules** to run Workday Jobs Scraper – Any Careers Site every hour, day or week, and integrations (Make, Zapier, Google Sheets, webhooks and more) to send the results where you need them.

#### Why did I get fewer results than expected?

The run stops at **Max items** or at the run's maximum cost, whichever comes first. Workday may also return fewer results for rare search terms. Duplicates across search terms are saved once. Check the run's `RUN_SUMMARY` record in the key-value store for the inputs that returned nothing.

#### What if it stops working?

Sites change. We run a daily check of our own and fix breakages quickly. If something looks wrong, open an issue in the **Issues** tab with the run link and we'll look at it.

#### Which links work?

Any Workday careers site: https://<company>.wd<N>.myworkdayjobs.com/<site> (with or without a language part such as /en-US) and https://wd<N>.myworkdaysite.com/recruiting/<company>/<site>. A link to one job on the site works too: the whole site is read.

#### Is the job description included?

No. The listing shows title, location, posted date and requisition id; the description is on each job's own page, and fetching it per job would raise the price. Open url for the full posting.

#### Why does locationsText say "6 Locations"?

That is how Workday lists a job open in several places. The job page names each location.

#### Why are there fewer jobs than the site says?

Workday stops each search at 2,000 jobs. The Actor splits bigger searches by a filter of the site, but a site without a suitable filter stays at 2,000; add a keyword or a filter in the link to narrow it.

### Not included

No personal data: recruiter names, contact details and applicant data are not collected. Job descriptions, salaries and application questions are on each job page and are not included.
