## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Regulatorik Radar – New German & EU Laws by Industry

**Know which new laws and regulations affect your business – every week, in plain language.**
Pick your industries, get a clean table of new German federal laws and EU regulations with a short summary,
**what changes for businesses** and the **date of entry into force**. Download as Excel or CSV, or schedule it
weekly and get only what is new.

The data comes from the official sources: the **German Federal Law Gazette (Bundesgesetzblatt, Part I)** and the
**Official Journal of the EU (EUR-Lex)** – updated daily. Each law is summarized automatically in German,
tagged with the affected industries and rated by its relevance for businesses.

### What you can do with it

- **Industry filter** – food & gastronomy, retail & e-commerce, energy, construction, transport & logistics,
  health & pharma, banking & insurance, IT & data protection, and more. Changes that apply to **all businesses**
  (e.g. sanctions lists, minimum wage) are always included.
- **Relevance filter** – by default only changes with *high* or *medium* relevance for businesses; internal
  rules for public administration are skipped.
- **Weekly compliance alerts** – schedule the Actor weekly with *Published since: 7 days* and *Only new since
  last run*. Connect it to email, Slack or Google Sheets via Apify integrations.
- **Search** – German full-text search (`verpackung` finds *Verpackungsgesetz*).
- **Use it from AI assistants** through Apify's MCP server.

### Typical users

- Compliance, legal and quality teams in small and mid-sized companies
- Industry associations and chambers informing their members
- Consultants, tax advisors and law firms monitoring changes for clients
- Newsletters and AI agents that need a structured feed of new regulation

### Output

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `title`, `doc_type` | Official title and type (Gesetz, Verordnung, Richtlinie, Durchführungsverordnung, …) |
| `source`, `reference`, `authority` | Bundesgesetzblatt or EU Official Journal, official citation / CELEX, responsible ministry |
| `published`, `in_force` | Publication date and (earliest) entry into force |
| `impact` | Relevance for businesses: high, medium, low, none |
| `industries` | Affected industries |
| `summary`, `changes` | Plain-language summary and what changes for businesses (German) |
| `keywords`, `url` | Keywords and link to the official text |

### Pricing

You pay only per delivered law. A weekly alert for one or two industries usually delivers a handful of rows.

### Good to know

- Summaries, industries and relevance are **generated automatically** and can be wrong or incomplete.
  **This is not legal advice** – the official text (`url`) is authoritative.
- Entry into force is read from the official text (e.g. *"on the twentieth day following its publication"*);
  single provisions may apply later.
- Coverage: Bundesgesetzblatt Part I (laws and ordinances) and EU regulations and directives including
  implementing and delegated acts. Not included: state (Länder) law, individual EU decisions, corrigenda.

### Data source

Bundesgesetzblatt (recht.bund.de) and EUR-Lex (eur-lex.europa.eu), © European Union. Official works; reuse permitted.

# Actor input Schema

## `industries` (type: `array`):

Only laws affecting these industries. Changes relevant for all businesses are always included. Empty = all.

## `impact` (type: `array`):

Skip changes that only concern public administration. Default: high and medium.

## `source` (type: `string`):

Bundesgesetzblatt Part I (laws, ordinances) and/or EU regulations and directives.

## `query` (type: `string`):

Full-text search (German). Word parts match: `verpackung` also finds `Verpackungsgesetz`. Use `OR` for alternatives.

## `publishedSince` (type: `string`):

Only laws published on or after this date. Relative values like `7 days` work well for weekly schedules.

## `onlyNew` (type: `boolean`):

Ideal for schedules: returns only laws not delivered by a previous run with the same filters.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Upper limit of results. You only pay for delivered results.

```
# Actor output Schema
